Thinking of being part of this family seems so fun and the warmth of their welcome eventhough hindi pa naman kami sigurado sa pagpasok sa team nila. Yung belongingness. Kaya nang imbitahan ako ng manager ng team ay pinaunlakan ko. Im talking about the lady eagles here. They look like they are just playing without thinking na they could win but not to the point that they would not try hard.

They are playing happy. No pressure.

And while watching them in the lower box of the Big Dome, a lot of them are smiling. Smiling when they got a point and still smiling when they commit an error or they didnt lift the ball up.

"Nakakaexcite naman maging parte ng team nila!" Sabi nung katabi ko.

Nilingon ko naman siya. "Sure ka na?" Tanong ko.

Kumunot ang noo nito pero agad ding nawala. "Yes! Sure na sure. Ikaw ba?"

Yung kausap ko, siya si Therese Gaston from USTe. Recruit ng Ateneo. Yung katabi naman niya na sobrang tahimik at focused sa panunuod ay si Maddie Madayag from Davao Christian High School.

"Still undecided." Sagot ko at ngumiti.

"Im sure you will have your answer after this game." Sagot nito.

Tumago naman ako.

So back to lady eagles, naglalaro sila hunting to force a do or die game pero they take it lightly and simply playing because they love the sports.

Sabi pa nga ni Ate Den, their libero nung game 2 ng NU versus ADMU, "if you love what you are doing, it will be easy for you to play all your might and bring your A game. Everything will just follow."

And i can say what she said was showned to what they are playing right now.

Nilingon ko ang buong Arena. I wanna be part of this UAAP rivalry. Gusto ko, makapaglaro din ako sa ganitong kalaking crowd.

Pero what team?

Is it the Big Blue sea?

Or is it the vast green grass?

Hayy... Ang hirap mamili.

Halos mabingi ako sa sigawan nang malipat sa Ateneo ang Match Point. Lahat nagsasaya at kinakabahan.

And it was ended by a call that made Ateneo won the match. Some in green swore expletives kesyo wrong call daw. Na kesyo binayaran ng Ateneo ang referee.

Ang mga nakablue naman ay nagsasaya bagaman may pagtatanong rin sa call ng referee.

"That was a tough call." Maddie commented.

"Uy anjan ka pa pala?" Biro ko.

"Spare my silence. This is me eh." She answered.

"Then please bare with my kaartehan. Hahaha!" Therese

"Well, sorry if i looked so overconfident but i am not. Im just like, uhm.. Born this way." Sabi ko na rin and we all laughed

"Tara, hintayin natin sila sa dug out?" Aya ni Therese.

Tumango naman kami at sabay sabay na naglakad patungo sa dug out ng Ateneo. Andun na ang ibang caching staffs kaya nakapasok kami. Tapos nung dumating ang team ay nag speexh si Sir Ricky and Sir Tony then we prayed tapos sinabihan ang team na wag ng isipin pa ang call ng referee. Sila lang naman ang tanging nakakaalam at sila lang rin makakapagdesisyon.

Kinongrats namin sila taz sumama sa team dinner ng mga ito. Nakakahiya pero wala kaming nagawa kundi sumama dahil may pag-uusapan daw kami ng mga officials.
