Chapter Nineteen - Counting Down

"One more week!" I practically shout over the phone to Jake.

"What?" He laughs.

"Shangri La?" I smile.

"Oh!" We both grin. "You know more about me than I do."

"I asked about the tour."

"What'd they say?" He asks, excited.

"Basically, yeah."

"Basically?"

"Well, my mum has to try to convince my dad."

"Oh," he chuckles. "I'm so excited for this tour!"

"Maybe because I'm gonna be there." I smirk.

"It might just be that." He laughs.

"How's your hangover?"

"It's still there a little." He sighs. "I wish you could be here to take it away."

Then, I remember. "Do you know if you can visit, like you said?"

"I'm still not sure." He smiles. "I've got a good chance, though."

"I hope you can come down."

"Me too." He chuckles. "You are getting the biggest hug when we see each other again."

"I'm looking forward to that."

"I love you," he says suddenly.

"I love you too." I say back, and I don't even have to think twice about it.
