Recap : accident of anika

Part 10

Hospital

Shivay barged into the hspital

" where is my wife?", Shivay asked the receptionist.

" may I know your wife's name sir", receptionist asked him.

" Annika", he said urgently.

"general ward", She said.

Shivay ran from there immediately. 

His legs didn't stop even for a second. All he could think is only about anika. 

His brain stopped working. His mind was entirely filled with her thoughts.

No one witnessing Shivay right now in this position cannot believe he is the great business tycoon Shivay singh oberoi. 

His hair messed up, clothes covered by dirt, forehead covered with sweats and most importantly tears in his eyes.

He barged into the room in which she was admitted. There he saw his lady love lying unconscious in a bed. 

She was being treated by doctors. Her face covered with oxygen mask. A small bandage around her head and shoulder.

 Doctors spotted an outsider in the patient room. They immediately called for security.

 But before they could do anything Shivay was back to his mode.

" how dare you treat my wife in a common ward?", Shivay asked them angrily.

" excuse me mister who are you to question us?", doctor questioned him.

" I'm Shivay singh oberoi and I don't think you need any further explanation", he replied with full attitude.

Hearing his name doctors shivered. After all he is a board member of this hospital. He owns majority of the shares. 

They immediately changed Annika into one of their best room. He was worried for her. Shivay went to chief doctor's room to enquire about Annika.

" what happened to my wife doctor?", Shivay asked in a worried tone.

" Mr. oberoi there is nothing to worry. Your wife is fine now. She fainted on the road due to some stress and because of that she got a mild injury in her head and few scars on her shoulder but there is nothing to worry about it. She just need some proper rest and care. She will be fine soon", doctor explained him.

" thank you so much doctor. You not only saved my wife's life but also mine. I can't even imagine a life without her. I am extremely sorry doctor for my behavior. I lost my temper and couldn't control my behavior and I apologize for it", he took a deep breath as a sign of relief.

" well angry young man I can understand your emotions. I too must have felt the same way if see my wife in hospital. In fact you are so lucky to have her in your life. Even during our treatment she constantly whispered your name. I think she loves you so much because even when fighting with death she only remembered your name", doctor patted his shoulder and went.

Shivay's pov

She loves me a lot. I can't even imagine a life without her. I can't let her go again from my life. I'm incomplete without her.

Anika's room

She was sleeping under the effect of sedatives. Shivay was sitting beside her. he held her hand with his and gently kissed her forehead.

" Annika please don't do this to me.for the past three hours I felt like my life is going away from me. Seeing you in this hospital bed my heart is getting ripped into pieces. I know you are hurt by my actions. You want me to support you but I said I can't go against my family. But don't forget Annika you are also my family how can I go against you too.I can't live without you. I can't even imagine a life without you. I need you like oxygen to breathe. I'm not good enough when it comes to expressing but trust me Annika I never married you because I'm guilty but I married you bcause i...", he was stopped in middle by a conscious Annika. She kept her finger on his lips.

" there is no need to say it Shivay. I can understand everything just by reading your eyes. You are right Shivay why we should waste our present by thinking our past. Whatever we do we can't change our past. Maybe my parents will be happy if I lead a happy life with you. . let's forget our dark past and fill our future with light. I am ready to give our relationship a second chance", Annika said to him.

Shivay couldn't believe himself. He felt so happy after all his lady love is ready to give him a chance an he won't spoil it this time.

He hugged her immediately and expressed his emotions. she too reciprocated it.

Shivay and Annika reached oberoi mansion safely. Luckily there was no one at home. Everyone went to some relatives function.

Shivay and Annika had dinner together. At first Annika refused to eat but Shivay didn't want her to go to bed with empty stomach so he compelled her to eat.

Shivay helped Annika to lie in bed. He was about to go but she held his hand and asked him to sleep beside her in bed. 

He can never refuse his lady love wish. As an obedient husband he obeyed her command and laid down beside her. she kept her face near his chest. he massaged her hair and frequently kissed it till she fell into a deep slumber.

Morning

Shivay's phone was constantly ringing. Disturbed by its sound he woke up.

" hello", Shivay said in a sleepy voice.

" Mr. Shivay singh oberoi so whatever we heard is true?", a reporter asked him.

" what truth?", Shivay questioned him.

" didn't you see news yet?", reporter said.

Shivay switched on his TV and found a news which shocked him to death.
