So we go back together but I feel like something is missing. I'm scared were going to go back to our old ways of fighting all the time and drama. I never want to go down that road again, I want us to go to the next level. Move live in a big house and adopt some children and maybe get married. That's my dream but I'm not sure what's going to happen. Ever since Chres and I got back together I couldn’t get his harsh comment 3 years ago out of my head he said he felt like a babysitter that comment still makes me angry and I hope he still doesn’t feel that way because if he does then we don’t need to be together. He was in the shower and I was sitting on the bed with my hand wrapped around my knees his statement was eating me alive so I needed to know what was up and I wanted to know now before this goes any further. I started biting my acrylic nail a habit I have when I'm thinking hard about something.

“Babe have you seen my shirt”? He asked looking on the ground

“It's over there” I said pointing to the bin.

“Thanks” he smiled walking over to grab it

“Chres” I called

“Yeah” he said placing his shirt on his hand

“Before we go any further I have a question”? I asked.

“And what is that? He turned around looking at me

“Did you really mean that when you said you felt like you were babysitting me”? I asked crossing my arms

“Are you serious Cori that was like 3 years ago” he laughed

“I'm not laughing Chres” I scoffed

“No I didn’t mean it all” he said sitting on the bed he lifted my chin up and smiled

“You know because before we go any further I don’t want you to feel like your babysitting me, You know I have a lot of complications and if you can't handle it then there's  no need to continue I don’t need you to leave once shit gets rough” I scoffed rolling my eyes

“ Why do you think I chose you? I knew from the jump what you were going through but I'm in love with you so none of that shit matters” he said trying to cheer me up

“Okay, whatever you say” I said sarcastically looking at my nails. He got up to grab his belt to place around his jeans. “You know I feel like your finding reasons for us to breakup already” he chuckled

“Umm no I'm just asking a question and trying to make sure it doesn't happen again” I snapped

“Well it's not baby, I'm here now so that's all that matters so stop worrying, see that’s your problem you worry a lot and that's why you get anxiety attacks” he explained pulling me into a hug

“You're right I'm sorry I just wanted to know that's all” I said

“It's all good but I'm gonna hang with my boys today I'll see you later” he smiled kissing my cheek

When he left out the door I decided to call my mother and ask her to come over. I haven’t seen her in forever and I need mother to daughter advice. Meanwhile I cleaned around the condo I cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom. I then grabbed the hamper of dirty clothes and sorted the colors from the whites. I grabbed his pants shaking them to make sure nothing was in them until a piece of paper came out of it. I picked it up and read it; it was a number that had the name Jordan on it. This is so not a good way to start this relationship over it seems like I'm already fed up and it hasn’t completely been a month since we got back together. I dropped all the clothes in the washer added the detergent and slammed the machine door down. I heard the door knock so I knew it was my mother. I opened the door greeting my lovely mother.
