"Brooke are you okay?" Nate asked over all the laughter.

I rolled my eyes at the guys and stood up.

"I'm fine." I muttered giving death glares to Austin, Drew and Levi.

"Like you care. " I muttered.

"Hey, Nate can care enough for all of us." Levi barely managed to say through laughter.

I took a step but my feet slipped from beneath me.

Crap.

I fell to the ground again but this time everyone wasn't laughing.

They all crowded around me.

I felt a sharp pain shooting through my ankle as I sat up.

"Crap. You're hurt." Drew said feeling guilty.

"Yeh, no chiz." I muttered gesturing towards my throbbing ankle.

"I think it's sprained we should get you to the hospital. " Nate said picking me up bridal style and plopping me on the bench.

"We should call an ambulance." Austin said.

"No,no , it will be quicker if we drive there." He turned around to look at Drew. "Open the car door."

"No guys I'm fi-" I was about to finish when Nate picked me up again and before I knew it we were in the car going to the hospital.

I lay in the hospital bed with a bandage wrapped around my ankle.

The guys were all sat outside.

"There, done. " The Nurse said smiling at me. "I don't suggest you going skateboarding any time soon."

I laughed "Thanks. "

I could hear mumbles from outside and I could tell she did too.

"I'll let ur friends in. " She suggested.

I nodded my head trying not to move my sore ankle.

Nate rushed in, standing at the doorway. He sighed with relief and sat in the chair beside me.

"You're okay. " He smiled.

"Yeh, I don't know what you were so worried about." I chuckled.

He went bright red and looked away from me. I furrowed my eyebrows and was about to ask what that was about when he spoke.

"So what did the nurse say?" He asked.

"Just, I should take it easy for a couple of weeks. "

"Do you need crutches." He asked.

Just in time the nurse walked in.

"Here you go. " She said handing me two crutches as I slowly tried to sit up on my bed.

She turned around.

"Looks like you have more visitors miss. " My dad rushed in.

"I'll see you tommorow." Nate said standing up and leaving.

"Um...bye." I said but he was already out the door.

Well that was weird.

My dad shook his head then knelt down next to me.

"I'm glad you're okay. You had me worried there, I'm banning you from skateboards for life."

I smiled.
