When Carter woke up he could hear something making an offer humming sound downstairs. He got out of bed, got on his old army fatigues which he always wore for good luck, and a reminder of who he used to be, as a reminder that anyone can be a good person, if they just try. Ever since that day when he met Papyrus, he realized that he had done right thing. He soon stopped thinking about it and put his black shorts(with white stripes down the sides) and black T-shirt that said "If you fight me you'll get dunked" on overtop of his army fatigues, which he then put his blue jacket overtop of. He then headed downstairs to find that nobody was there. He then realized it was coming from behind the house, as Carter went outside to see that there was nobody outside, in fact, all that  was there was a seamingly infinite black void around the house, although when he walked up to it and put his hand on it, it felt like solid rock. "Oh crap, what did you do this time Gaster?" Carter asked himself as he went into the secret workshop to find a machine in the middle of the room, making a similar glow to the portal he saw last night, with Sans and Gaster passed out on the floor "Sans? Gaster? Wake up!" Carter yelled as Gaster got up and Sans kept laying there, Carter quickly rushed over "hmm, there's no reason he should be like this. His HP is it's normal 1, his soul isn't fractured or shattered, and no bones are broken. what's wrong with him?" Carter asked "How do you know that?" Gaster asked "I was a general remember? Asgore trained me to know when a soldier could be saved or if he was too far gone." Carter explained "now, what did you do? And why is the house sealed with a black void?" Carter asked "Black void? This was a time travel experiment! We were supposed to bring the house back to were it was in Snowdin in the past!" Gaster explained "you mean the time when it didn't exist and Snowdin didn't even exist yet? Your lucky we aren't worms or something in a tree waiting to be cut down to build the house!" Carter yelled as Gaster had a sudden moment of realization "O-Oh god! I didn't realize! Wait, how did you move it to the surface in the first place?" Gaster asked "I used my telleportation. Now, can you bring us back or not?" Carter asked "I don't know. We activated it by accident, it wasn't ready for testing!" Gaster explained as Sans started to stir "well, looks like Sans is waking up. But, if it's broken how will we fix it?" Carter asked "we would need items from the surface, but we can't get there!" Gaster said "wait, if the war hasn't ended yet and the barrier isn't up I may be able to telleport out of here! What do you need?" Carter asked "I need something to provide 20 to 30 volts of electricity, a power conduit, and any metal and wires you can find!" Gaster explained "okay! I'll try to go up there!" Carter said as he closed his eyes and  focused his thoughts on the surface, and soon, he felt the warm fall break against his neck. He opened his eyes to see he was in a forest next to the human city. Carter realized that he didn't have his blue sweater at the time, and he had a drastically different look to his face, it's why nobody other than Papyrus reconized him when he went underground. He may be able to sneak in the city he thought. He decided to try it, as he walked to the security checkpoint to get in the city. He approached the security scanner that would scan his soul. He used his telekinesis to reverse the polarity, allowing it to read his soul as human. He passed the checkpoint and used his telekinesis to reverse it back to normal. Carter started looking around the city for parts. He knew that if he was caught or he took something he wasn't supposed to, it could have drastic effects on the future. He looked around until he found a scrapyard. It had everything he needed and then some. So, Carter went to the scrap heep and started digging around for parts. Whenever he found one he used his telekinesis to telleport it over to Gaster. Soon he had all the parts. He then found an old outhouse which he went inside before telleporting back to the house, as he saw Gaster and Sans in front of him with all the parts in a pile. "How's that Gaster?" Carter asked "it should be enough. How'd you get them?" Gaster asked "A scrap heap. It shouldn't effect the future in any major way,I didn't take anything humans would value compared to other things there" Carter explained "good. Now, let's get to repairing it." Gaster said and within an hour the machine was ready, Carter could hear humans chearing on the surface, as he could tell the barrier was about to be cast on the underground, they turned on the machine, and in a few seconds they opened the door and they were back on the surface, their version of the surface."thank God that's over! Gaster, can you promise me you won't do anything time related again?" Carter asked "I'll try not to." Gaster said
