An awkward meeting

Carter went to the place the incident took place, a medow with an ancient stone wall engraved with ancient monster writing, upon closer inspection Carter realized it was a spell. "Huh, welp, let's try it... Gasteraupus switcheroo nintenswap!" Carter yelled as suddenly he was falling down Mt. Ebbot, and when he regained conceousness, he saw Chara where Frisk usually was, Carter jumped to his feet and backed up against the wall, thankfully they weren't awake yet, so Carter decided to do a trust test he quietly laid on the ground, pretending to still be unconscious, soon Chara woke up and shook him awake "Hey! Are you okay?" Chara asked as Carter pretended to wake up "ugh, yeah, I'm okay..." Carter said as he got up "Oh, thank God your okay! I thought you were dead! I'm Chara!" Chara said as Carter was tempted to say 'I know who you are', but he didn't "I'm Carter, nice to meet you Chara!" Carter said as Chara looked down the hallway "look! We can get out over there!" Chara said as they pointed down a hallway "well then let's get outta here!" Carter said as they headed down and instead of Flowey, a version of Temmie was there "HOI! I'm Temmie! Temmie the Tem! Hoomans new to undergwund, Tem will tech hoomans how to survive!" Temmie said as the world around them turned black and white "Hooman see hert? Thet is hooman's SOUL, the vewy culwinateon of hooman's being! Hooman's soul can gwow stwonger weth LV!" Temmie said "what's LV?" Chara asked "LV is WOVE! Hoomans want wove, roight?" Temmie asked as they threw white pellets at Chara, hitting them square in the ribs as Temmies expression turned evil " YOU IDIOT! IN THIS WORLD ITS KILL OR BE KILLED!" Temmie yelled as they surrounded them in the white pellets as Carter chuckled "you really think these pellets will kill us?" Carter asked sarcastically as he used his telekinesis to redirect them at Temmie "cause if ya did, your wrong! In fact, they will kill you!" Carter said as a fireball made Temmie bash trough a wall as Asgore approached "what a miserable creature, torturing such poor innocent youth..." Asgore said as he turned his attention to Chara and Carter "do not be afraid children-" "um, actually I'm fourteen years old, so not really a teen anymore..." Carter said "really? Your quite small for a teen..." Asgore said "yeah well genetics got in the way..." Carter said "anyways, do not be afraid, I will not harm you, I am Asgore, keeper of the ruins. Come with me, I shall guide you through the catacombs" Asgore said as he guided them to his home in the ruins "here is my home here in the ruins, if you choose not to go through the rest of the underground than it may also be your home as well" Asgore said "well,we will probably be on our way, it was nice meeting you Asgore!" Chara said as Asgore guided them to the exit "just be wary of Toriel, my former wife and queen, when the first human to fall down died- when Frisk died, they were never the same..." Asgore said as he shut the door behind them, they continued through the path from the ruins to Snowdin, soon they were at the beginning of Snowdin Forrest, as they walked down the path, a branch behind them snapped as they ran towards a gate, soon they got close enough that they could hear them "humans, don't you know how to greet two new pals? Turn arround and shake our hands" they said as they turned around and now Carte was face to face with an alternate version of Mack, he decided to call him Swap Mack as he is in the position Carter was in his universe as Mack retracted his hand "wait, Carter?" Mack asked as Chara turned towards Carter "how does he know your name?" Chara asked as Carter laughed nervously "funny story-" Carter was interrupted as Mack started searching him up and down " bro, WHAT are you doing?" Carter asked as Chara looked more suspicious "bro? This guy is your bro?" Chara asked "where's your guns Carter?" Mack asked "guns? Guns are YOUR thing Mack!" Carter said as Mack looked confused "no, I make guns, also what happened to that battle body?" Mack asked "wait, your the one with that suit you call a 'battle body'! Also, why has Sans gained height?" Carter asked "Sans? I'm not Sans, it's me, Papyrus" Papyrus said as Mack looked down the path "hold up a minute- how are you here and there at the same time?" Mack asked as Carter thought for a moment before jumping down the pit the bridge crosses, soon coming out on a Gaster Blaster "would I know I stashed this here if I wasn't me?" Carter asked "I stashed that there! Also, Carter doesn't even know about that! You have a lot of explaining to do" Mack said as his eye turned Orange and Carter grabbed Charas hand and made the Gaster Blaster zoom forward through Snowdin "okay, what the HELL is going on?" Chara asked "okay, this is gonna sound crazy, but I'm from another dimension" Carter said "okay, your crazy" Chara said "look, in my universe, you are an evil phychopathic serial killer and Frisk is not only in the spot your in right now, but is alive, and you are dead with what little is left of your soul placed into a robotic body!" Carter explained as Chara looked skeptical "okay, tell me something I can believe" Chara said "okay, I can tell you this much, down there there's a bar called Grillbys were about to pass, then there's Waterfall with Undyne and Redyne, there's Hotland with Alphys and Rose, there's also a secret elevator where they're bathroom is supposed to be that leads to a lab with amalgamated monsters that were melted together with determination, there's a robot tv star host that Alphys made and his name is Mettaton! If any of those names or places dont exist then you can go right ahead and try to kill me like the demon you are in my universe, deal?" Carter explained "fine, your already wrong about the bar though, it's called Muffet's" Chara said "What? It must be this alternate universe! I have a picture of me and Sans standing in front of my version of Grilbys!" Carter said as he pulled a stack of photos out of his pocket and showed it to Chara, they saw the picture Carter mentioned along with several pictures of Chara's melting face, Chara's red eyes, Chara killing Carter, Chara killing Undyne among other pictures as Chara looked a bit sympathetic "O-Oh my god! A version of me did this? I-im so sorry for you..." Chara said "well I'll tell you this much, that's more that your alternate self has ever apologized for" Carter said as a bone hit the blaster as it spun, as Carter and Chara fell off, Carter grabbed the pictures and soon they hit the ground as Swap Carter held a gun up to Carter's face as Carter chuckled "your gonna shoot me? I know my version of Mack, and myself well enough to know that you couldn't shoot anyone without good enough reason, me looking like you is not one of them" Carter said as Swap Carter sighed and tossed it asside "fine, it's not even loaded" Swap Carter said "yeah, I knew that as well." Carter said as Swap Mack lifted him and Chara up with his telekinesis "well, until we figure it out, I'm putting you in the prisoner room." Mack said as he headed towards the tool shed
