16-Snowfall Festivities

Tetsuya's POV

I watched Kaya come out of her room bundled up. I saw the black coat and grey sweatpants that were on top of more clothes. She also had on some black snow boots. Her red hair was hidden in a grey beanie.

She smiled, "Okay I'm ready." I had on black pants and my brown peacoat. She grabbed my hand, "Come on."

We ended up in a park in a nearby town. We ended up going to the skating area. Kaya put on some skates and I did too. I got onto the ice with my arms out. Don't fall. It'll look bad.

Kaya went forward and jumped up doing a spin in the air. Wow... Kaya smiled, "It's okay. Let's make sure we can move first." She held my hands and lead me around the edges of the ice.

Kaya let go of my hands and let me move on my own. She smiled, "You're doing great for a beginner."

I nodded, "I guess so..."

Kaya giggled, "I'm not lying Tetsuya." We just slowly scatted around the edges.

I pushed Kaya towards the middle and she went. I watched as she did stunning leaps and twirls. I smiled, "You should know I love you..."

Kaya kept spinning. Now I know what Kasanoda means. When she's skating she's in her own world. All her troubles wash away and she's herself without worrying about it. Kaya came back over smiling, "Thanks, Tetsuya."

I smiled, "No problem Kaya." Kaya and I went around the rink a couple more times. Then we got off and slowly put our skates in the return. I patted Kaya on top of the head.

Kaya gently tugged me by my hand. I followed her then she stopped and walked forward. She bent down and got some snow. Then when she turned around she threw a snowball at me that I easily dodged.

Kaya laughed, "Come on, why not?!" I smiled as we both started making snowballs. Now I started tossing them at her.

She was laughing so hard with a big smile on her face. I went up and hugged her, "I love you crazy."

Kaya turned around and kissed me. We both ended up smiling breaking the kiss. I'm so far in love with her. Kaya gave me a tight hug then started pulling on me again. We ended up in the cafe we first started at, So Hot Cafe!

Today Kaya ended up paying for both our hot chocolates. Kaya had chocolate syrup and marshmallows, while I just had marshmallows. We sat drinking it, happy with the warmth. Kaya laid her head on my shoulder, "You're amazing, Tetsuya."

I laid my head on top of her, "No, that's you, Kaya." Kaya shook her head and then went back to her hot chocolate.

"I love you " I heard. I stood in Kaya's doorway. Midnight was sitting across her lap. Kaya smiled, "You are amazing."

I went in closing the door behind me, "Kaya." Midnight licked Kaya's cheek. I gently grabbed her other cheek and pulled her into a kiss. Kaya eventually pulled back, breaking it for air.

Midnight licked my cheek and I smiled. I patted his head, "Thanks for letting me stay so close to Kaya."

Kaya rubbed his back, "Yeah, he is protective of me." I nodded my head. It's not a bad thing cause he'll keep you safe when I'm not here.

I gently hugged Kaya, "I love you."

Kaya kissed me, "I love you."

I never would've expected today. Skating, hot chocolate, snowball fight... Just general things people do when it snows. I've gotten so many kisses today.

I stared at the ceiling and put my fingers on my lips. Kaya doesn't even know how happy I am.

Snowflakes still rain down out here. Kaya and I occasionally go out of the syndicate to enjoy it. I guess Ritsu is right, Kaya loves winter. But I know her favorite season is actually fall. It's because of all the pretty colors.

I went to her room and found her door locked. I sighed and knocked, "Young Mistress." I knocked again louder, "Young Mistress." I ended up going to Kasanoda's room and knocked, "Young lord."

He opened the door, "What is it Tetsuya?"

I sighed, "The young mistress..."

He took off down the hall, "no wonder I felt strange."

Kasanoda lock picked Kaya's door. When he pushed it open Kaya was sitting in the corner of the room. She had her hands on her face and was shaking. Kasanoda ran to her pulling her into a hug. He said, "It'll be okay, we're here. We're here Kaya."

I went over after closing the door and put my hand on her head. Kaya grabbed my hand in hers and squeezed it. I sighed, "We're here for you. Don't worry about it. We're right here." Kaya hugged Kasanoda while still holding my hand.

I laid beside Kaya holding her in her sleep. Kaya relapsed in her mental thinking. She freaked out earlier. Like really freaked out. She cried with us for an hour. Then she tugged me into bed and cuddled me till she fell asleep.

Kasanoda sighed, "I'll lock the door. Stay with her. I'm glad she's finally asleep." I nodded my head yes and he walked out after locking the door.

I sighed, "I love you, Kaya." Then I placed a kiss on her forehead and held her tight.
