From the buds they bloom
A velvet of sparkle
To dispell the gloom
Dancing in the wind
Coyly they sing
Like peacocks they're proud
Their beauty they fling
Intoxicating perfume
Colours they glorify
Flaunt their beauty
Never shy!
Thorns their armour
Protection from envy
For rivals in battle
Of its ravishing beauty
