The guiding lights
Who steer you forward
Through thorny paths
To reach the heights
Knowledge inhaled
Through books and pens
Gratitude just pale
Far from their worth
Learnt to read
To spell and add
They mould you
Like the clay in their hands
Success and strength
They cultivated
A prosperous nation
They illuminated.
