He silently waits
For the day he will be free
Free from blame
From the struggles and shame
A virtue he possesses
Lessens his troubles
And inwardly he feels
The peace as he kneels
Never to complain
Only gratitude for the grains
His rewards in abundance
As he feels the rain.
