**Greg's POV**
It had been almost a week since Jay had come back to me. Everything was just barely starting to go back to normal. Jay still slept in bed with me. Nothing happened between the two of us because I wasn't going to sit there and force the woman I love to have sex and mate with me. I wouldn't do that until she was ready for it. The farther away the date got, the day everything happened to her, the closer to me Jay seemed to get.
There were small times where she would just look at me with a certain look on her face and then there were other times where she would just randomly kiss me for no reason at all. I didn't know what was really going on but I liked it. I was laying in bed with her again tonight thinking. All of a sudden Jay looked up at me the way she usually does. I caught her doing it this time and thought that I would ask why.
"Why do you look at me like that Jay?" I asked her softly. She came back at me with a long winded but much needed explanation. "I look at you the way I do because I.... I.... I.... I love you. I look at you the way that I do because you love me. I look at you the way I do because I still can't believe somebody like you could ever love a person like me." What she said next surprised the fuck out of me.
"I, Jenai Annette White, do here by ACCEPT you, Gregory Allen Matthews, as my life partner, as my MATE." I responded with the same.
"I, Gregory Allen Matthews, do here by ACCEPT you, Jenai Annette White, as my life partner, as my MATE." Then I rolled out from under Jay. I grabbed her up, spun her around and around and around, then kissed her with the most passion I have ever put into something. She'd actually accepted me as her mate. I never thought I would hear that she was accepting me but she did and I had heard them.
It was unbelievable. I finally had my mate and I could finally start a family of my own some day.
