I swear to god I want the album Parachutes by FIATP to throw me off a fuckign cliff it's so gOod
The whole album has such punk vibes but there are such good slow moments in Miss Me, 9-16-15, and Remedy and aaaaaa/\?,
and then there are the heavier moments, like World Destroyer and Dear Percocet and Veins! Veins!! Veins!!! that all fit in so well and they just make you wanna jump around your room and headbang and throw things
AND HOLY BASSLINE ON SOME OF THESE TRACKS I MEAN
In I'm A Mess there are a few moments where it comes out sO well and I swear to god I made a fucking orgasm face and all of They Wanted Darkness has that
THE LYRICS ! They're so heartbreaking and poetic and beautiful but hopeful and his voice sounds kind of broken at points but also really powerful and pushing forward and his screams are just gut wrenching and Ugh this album is fucking me in the ass
EVERYONE SERIOUSLY LISTEN TO THE ALBUM ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT'S INCREDIBLE

Honestly, it's not my favorite, but I definitely don't hate it. The lyrics are awesome, Patrick's voice sounds great, and the verses are really good, but I just can't get into the general poppiness of it and the vocal manipulations in the chorus :/ That being said, never judge an album off of the first single!! Pete said that Young and Menace would be the most "left" song on the album, so let's hope

Song of the day: I'm A Mess by FIATP-- just chose one from the album LISTEN TO THE WHOLE GODDAMN THING, but this one gets me PUMPED and the bassline and his voice and the "hold your breath hold your breath hold your breath" part KILLS me
