Gauges

So basically any hope of me ever getting my parents' permission to stretch my ears was just killed

I offhandedly asked my mom about her opinion on gauges during dinner, and she kinda made this face and went "they give me the heebie jeebies" (her exact words)

So I agreed with her, but then said something about how honestly they're fine if they're small, then showed her that pic that I posted yesterday with that super cute gold tunnel

and she made that same face and was like "still"

Like?? That's so cute?? What??

And she's like "Please tell me you'll never ask to get gauges"

and I immediately replied "no! no obviously not" but on the inside I was like ....hello darkness my old friend....

And then I sorta went "And besides, if I ever wanted to get something like that I'd do it when I was grown up and out of the house" and she gave me a super skeptical look

Looks like I won't be stretching till college

I mean I was planning on waiting a few years until I started just to make absolutely sure that I wanted to but...

QOTD: Opinion on gauges?

AOTD: I think they're super cool when they're small, like up to 00g and sometimes bigger, and some people can pull off big ones
