I took in a deep breath as I started to walk down the aisle. Following my loved ones. Today was finally my wedding day, and it couldn't be anymore perfect.
My closest friends and family were sat on the nearby benches, ready to see me off. My aunts and uncles had walked down before me. My mother beside me and Melissa scattering petals from a basket behind me.
The setting was perfect. Beach wedding. My dress was perfect. Sherri Hill. The flowers were perfect. Pale pink roses. But most importantly the groom was perfect. My childhood best friend.
