Pink Pastel Secret

Little Lucy

Everyone seems to ignore me, I ended up putting my favorite pink flower print dress and white sandals on today but I'm not sure if it's the dress, pony tails, or book bag. My book bag is really adorable though, at least I believe it is. It's like a big fluffy bunny and I usually carry my stickers, crayons, markers, glittery pencil, tiny notebook, and little cute erasers that my big brother gets me. He's the reason I get all these nice things, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have all the things I have now. My big brother is the captain of the football team and everyone knows him. All the girls fall for him, try to get his attention I mean I see why he's so famous in the school but beyond all that nonsense no one knows I exist, not even my parents. Sometimes they forgot I was home and use to leave me alone for days and always complained how I never said something but all I ever did was stay in my room to either study or play with my toys. I never had a phone because I never wanted one, all I ever had was a laptop. My brother Shane and I were considered "rich" but I never wanted a fancy phone with so many different cases for it or expensive bags and even wear expensive clothes like the girls do at school. The most expensive thing I own is the laptop. My brother on the other hand has all that fancy stuff but he will usually spends the rest of the money he saves up on me and buys me whatever I want.
He's just one of the two people that know my secret, my best friend Violet is the second to know and she is the most adorable loving person anyone could ask for. She even does the secret too. My day started off normal and that's usually with being ignored. My brother and I have three classes together and he tries to call me over sometimes but I ignore him and the only reason I do is because his friends bully me about the way I dress and the way I act, I'm usually shy and just keep to myself but I don't see what's wrong with that. My favorite place to be in school is the library I have a little corner where I eat my homemade lunch and write in my notebook about what I want as a gift so my brother can read it and probably get it for me later. I don't enjoy being around a lot of people and teachers especially don't make it easy for me. They always nag about something and my guidance counselor is never any help when it comes to people bullying me, the only friends I have is Violet and Shane but, Violet is usually busy with most of her classes during the day and Shane is always with the football team which leaves me here to be alone. I just want to get home and tell Toby what a long day it was and how I need to graduate already to get the heck out of this school. For now to get through this day I'm sitting here in the library writing in my notebook:
In my own little world I am four years old but here I am 18. I may be small but I have the biggest heart, especially for him.
