Chapter 17: Gene's decision

Gene's POV
I slam my bedroom door closed, grabbing a pillow and screaming into it. I screwed up. I screwed up really bad. I wouldn't blame Zane if he doesn't want me back. I can't exactly blame Aaron for this. I can't imagine what Aphmau's feeling right now. I feel so bad about this. I flop onto my bed, feeling the unmade covers swarm me. I glance towards my nightstand, seeing one of Zane's masks placed on it. Guess he forgot it. God I'm so angry at myself. I wish I could take it all back.

-flash back to when Gene first moved in- (this is why I used that song)

Gene's POV
Zane and I just started dating. He doesn't know what I've done in my past. I moved into Zane's neighborhood, trying to escape my past. I guess you can't run from what you are. A few month back, I was caught with sleeping with my ex, cheating on my recent boyfriend. My ex was a bitch. There's a reason I broke up with her. She called me a gay psycho when I told her I was Bi. Apparently she missed me and my boyfriend was never around anymore. Always out late at parties. I honestly think he was cheating on me. Still to this day I have no clue. Anyways, when my boyfriend came home, he caught me with her. He got mad, threw her out, and started ranting on me.
Things were thrown and words were said. I grabbed what I could and ran. I was tired of being in situations like that, feeling unwanted and ignored. I hated lying as well. So I heard Zane's neighborhood was highly suggested so I decided why not. I just didn't realize Zane lived there. Well Zane said yes when I asked him to be my boyfriend. That's a plus I guess. I hope he doesn't find out about my past. I don't want that ruining our relationship now, seeing as it just started.

Gene's POV
I can't seem to escape trouble. No matter where I go it always finds me. I wonder if everyone would be better off if I left?
