CASSIDY'S POV

The tears fell from my eyes when my boyfriend Robbie broke up with me. He told me he loved. He told me forever and always.

I couldn't go to Field Hockey practice today because I was crying so much, so I ended up going into the study hall. I sat in the last row as I watched the drama kids on stage rehearsing for the play.

I felt the brush of someone as they sat beside me.

"Hey." The coarse voice said. It was a guy, and frankly, I didn't want to deal with them anymore.

"Now. Is not a good time." I said roughly. I hoped he would get the picture and leave me alone. But man! This boy was persistent

"Robbie is a joke."

"Yea. Well, a pretty hot joke." I replied.

"Not as hot as me." I turned my head because I knew only one person who would say that. Dalton.

"I thought you were on tour!" I said excitedly.

"Well, I just had to come back!" He said. "So, how should I make my princess feel better?" He asked me. Dalton was my best friend and always knew how to cheer me up.

"Can you listen?"

"Rant on master!" He said as I giggled a little too loudly.
