He said
And it burned her already broken heart
Into dust and ashes
She was once an angel
With a pure heart and innocence
Until he came along
And taught her
How it was like to fall in love
What she didn't expect was
He also taught her
What it was like
To get her heart broken
And she cried for ages
Perhaps she was Icarus
Daring enough to fly close to the sun
Knowing that she would be burned
But she didn't prepare for how it felt
Fall, fall, she hit the ground hard
