I Still Like Him

And even after all this time, I still like him.
He gets me. He gets me every time. I turn to him during my saddest moments without even knowing why I do so. He's not my best friend; just a good friend of mine. Yet I feel like he's the only person who understands me the most.
We tend to argue over the smallest things but we both know we're joking. We're so similar in certain aspects that it kind of freaks me out. It's like when you meet this person, and it just clicks. And it's like you can read their mind and vice versa.
He speaks in such a way that whatever he says sounds wise and influencing. And I'm the receiving end of it. I'm always captivated by him. He's such a wonderful personㅡso kind and endearing.
He knows exactly how to cheer me up when I feel down and when I'm emotionally unstable. He understands the crazy female hormones. He tolerates my constant texts and my whining. He cracks hilarious jokes just to make me laugh again. He's good at that.
And even after all this time, I still like him.
