A "Human" That Likes A Skeleton

Asgore's Praise

you were making hot coco when you heard a scream you jolted up and poked your head out, ready to fight anything that threatened anyone, but you found frisk, chara, and rose floating covered in a blue aura you looked and found sans with his hand and eye glowing with the same blue aura you smiled and shook your head and went back to making hot coco, you knew they probably asked for it,

 after you finished you added some peppermint to yours and placed the mugs on a tray and then walked out of the kitchen "hot coco's ready!" you said everyone came and got their mug filled with the warm drink you got yours and sat down and sipped from it everyone was chatting when chara asks a question "y/n, do you think mom and dad are ok?" 

you smiled kindly and said "i'm sure there're fine chara, do you want me to call them?" chara nodded her head you took out your phone and called mom *ring rin-* "hello?" you raised your phone to your ear and went into the kitchen, "hi mom, it's y/n, i'm just calling to see how your doing?" you heard a sigh of relief and mom answered 

"i was just about to call you to see how your holding up, is everyone alright?" you smiled and said "yep! the power went out a while ago but it's back now, did you see the weather report?" mom said "yes, i did, it's krazy that it stretched all across half of the country" 

(a/n ok, i live in the u.s.a if that clears anything up XD) you said "i'm still trying to wrap my head around it" it was then that mom asked you a question "i just noticed, when i first answered did you called me 'mom'?" you bit your tongue and you started to stammer "i-i'm s-sorry i-i u-understand if-" you were cut off by mom saying 

"it's fine, y/n, i would rather you call me 'mom' frisk, chara, and asriel think of you as your big sister and i think of you as another one of my children, ah! that is if you want me too..." mom dragged on you smiled and and said "i don't mind...mom"

 it felt kinda weird to call her mom vocally, but, you just smiled it off you could tell mom was glad "do you think i could talk to chara or asriel?" you smiled "sure," you noticed chara sitting at the table and you went to her you said "chara, do you want to talk to mom?" chara nodded and you gave her the phone she started talking and you took that as a cue to leave you sat down on the couch and rose came up to you 'sis, can we flee fly?'

you smiled 'flee fly' was rose's term for you having someone on your back while you flew. or fleeing as rose had called it when she was still learning how to speak sign language, you looked at her and said "rose don't you think this house is a little too small?" rose nodded her head sadly you put a hand on her shoulder "how 'bout once the snow's cleared up we can go outside and flee fly, sound good?" rose brightened up her features and nodded she then went with frisk and they began to talk,

 you smiled and laid back, but an old feeling of alertness came before you and you knew that you would not rest until everything and everyone was okay, you didn't like the old feeling, you had liked being completely relaxed but unfortunately with everything going on you couldn't risk anything pertaining to anyone 

you thought about everyone who knew about your powers, the six muskets, sans, pap, gaster, alphys, toriel, undyne, sophie, your 'dad' your ex-mom, but other then that the only people who don't know are napstablook, asgore, and mettaton, geeze almost everyone knows about them, you sipped at your hot coco and put a smile on your lips, of course it wasn't a real smile, it was just there so at first glance you wouldn't see that something was tormenting you on the inside

 but someone wasn't taking a first glance and that someone was sans, you saw that sans had sat down next to you but you just thought that he was just finding a place to sit, but that wasn't the case, "what's wrong?" he said with a little bit of concern but you also caught a familiarity in his tone, as if he knew that something was defiantly wrong even though you didn't sigh, you turned and looked at him "nothing's wrong" you said

 sans looks at you "c'mon y/n, something up, other wise you wouldn't be so uptight" you knew he was indicating your posture so you said "this is how i always sit" and that was the sad truth, you were always so 'uptight' as sans said because you never knew when either ex-mom or 'dad' would come up and attack, you learned you always had to be aware of your surroundings, sans looked at you  "y/n, you should know by now that i know when something's bothering you" 

well, he isn't wrong but seriously, how does he do it? how can he see past the act that has everyone else not so worried about you? you sighed and sans pointed at you "see? now i know something's up" well dang, that's how he does it, you didn't want to tell in front of everyone "i'll, i'll tell you later" you said sans looked at you then nodded his skull "fine, but we will talk about this later" you smiled and nodded you tried to relax but you utterly failed, 

chara came up to you and handed your phone to you "dad wants to talk to you" you accepted the phone and raised it up to your ear putting down your empty hot coco mug on the coffee table "hello?" it was indeed asgore, or if you really wanted to, you could call him dad, but, maybe later "howdy y/n, chara has told me that you are unlike any other human, that you have something that is unnatural" you bit your tongue, well, at least you can add asgore onto your list of 'people who know what i really am' now you just have to tell mettaton and her cousin "she did?" you asked 

"yes, she told me that, because of your powers, you saved her from a substance that had consumed her, and made her do things she wasn't proud of" you smiled and said "it wasn't a big deal" asgore said "it is a big deal! without you, chara would still be lost, unable to, or refused to, be rescued, and for that i am forever in your debt" you widened your eyes a little bit "t-there's really no need to do that asgore, really, i don't deserve that" but asgore wouldn't listen he also said

 "she also told me you saved asriel from being a evil flower and if that's not enough, then nothing is, you single-handedly saved both of my children, i cannot thank you enough" you grew sheepish "it really was nothing asgore," but asgore went on "and to add more you saved the long lost royal scientist Dr.gaster and, to my knowledge, he was trapped in the void, and i had previously thought those who went into the void never came out but you proved that piece of information false"

 you were now blushing slightly this was probably the most praise you have ever gotten so you didn't know how to take it, it was enough that he said you saved both of his children, but he kept going, you couldn't help but stammer a little "i-it really wasn't a b-big deal, i just wanted to help any way i could" asgore finished "well, you helped in the largest way possible, i never thought in a million years that i would see my son and daughter alive again, thank you" you smiled but this time

 it was a true smile 

(A/n aaaaannnnddddd done! my goodness i have busy week ahead of me! i'm in a show with my brothers and this week's tech week if you don't know what that is it's technically where the technicians learn your show you learned in 4 months in 4 days, in my case, and i have to go to the theater early every day so i may be late but don't worry! i will not be discontinuing this book, and i understand that i've written 52 chapters and most stories have at most 30 chapters i'll admit i messed up, but oh well! what's done is done and until next time keep being awesome!!)
