"Well, at noon there is a luncheon at the cafeteria to celebrate the holidays and there is a meeting at two, other than that, there is nothing of importance"

I Nodded "Thank You, Helen, However, I Do Not Think I Will Join the Luncheon" Helen Nodded, Smirking, and Walked Out of the Room, Heels Clicking

I Shake My Head and Chuckle Dryly "Holiday Luncheon. What A Waste Of Time" I Mutter Going Back to My Work, I Only Say This Because That Luncheon Would be Filled With My Co-Workers Families. It's The Same With The Holidays, It Is Just A Stupid Excuse To Spend Time With Your Family

And Since All My Family Thinks I'm Dead It's A Bigger Waste Of Time

As you watched the sentimental moment between Asgore, Toriel, and Chara, you can't help but start to tear up, the story chara once told you coming to your memory, about how chara was the first human to fall down, befriend the king and queen's son, Asriel, and die for all of monster kind so they would be closer to freedom.

maybe there could be a way to get asriel back someday but for now, you needed to focus on the barrage of questions coming from toriel and asgore now that chara was in the mix as well, without spilling your secret.

you felt reserved that you couldn't tell your friends the truth about you. but the risk was too high, even if part of you wanted to just tell them and get it over with, but you just couldn't. guess you could say it was routine, 'natural' to keep it to yourself as you had for all of the time since you got your add-ons.

after asgore and toriel stopped asking questions it was nearly lunch time and so, you went into the kitchen to start fixing up some food, after a few minutes toriel came in and tapped your shoulder, causing you to jump and almost drop the packet of sliced turkey for sandwiches

"Oh! i'm sorry i startled you, my child, i was just wondering if you would like any help?" you smiled and shook your head "Nah, it's fine, I've been doing this for a while, so i'm good. you go and stay with chara" toriel smiled kindly and hugged you, and you, being surprised, didn't do anything

until Tori said "You have done so many things for us my child, and we have yet to thank you" you chuckled and hugged toriel back "it's no problem tori, besides, i really should be thanking you, after all, you guys have done so many things for me and my family, I'd like to think of it as a repayment"

it took toriel a while to get your joke but when she did she laughed and pulled back from the hug

"i had wondered on when you would bring it up" you chuckled again and made a 'shoo' motion with your hand and toriel gradually made her way to the living room, you having to keep shooing her out saying

"You go and bond with your once lost daughter Tori, i goat this" toriel laughed at your pun while you heard pap yell

"NYEH!!!"

toriel chuckled and went into the living room, leaving you to finish the sandwiches, as you were placing them on a big dark blue glass plate a thought struck you

'toriel called me 'my child' how did i not notice?'

you froze and thought that over, a warm feeling wormed its way into your heart and you found that you didn't mind being called 'my child' by toriel in fact, it felt nice, considering you didn't really have a mother figure since you were 13

'don't think about that'

even though it was true, usually, you were the mother figure, but it felt nice not being the one in ultimate charge for once,

after lunch, you were sitting on the couch and were resting your eyes when you felt a small tap on your knee and opened your eyes to see a smiling chara looking at you with a question in her chocolate brown eyes "y/n, can i stay with my parents?" you chuckled and nodded "of course chara, but don't hesitate to call if you need me ok?" chara nodded her already happy face beaming with joy

for the rest of the time, the four dreemurrs were at the skele-bros, chara and frisk were playing with rose, Elijah was talking to asgore and toriel, agrian was around pap like he always was,

you were just sitting on the couch being a bit lazy next to sans who was playing the game you two downloaded on his phone a few weeks ago, deciding to follow his example you took out your own phone and joined his game playing a few rounds.

after the dreemurrs left and you had dinner you all headed to bed after deciding that gaster would sleep on the couch with a comfortable sleeping bag, and you briefly wondered what exactly your head would do since you broke chara and gaster out of Dreamland

P.s just so you guys know, i searched for 3 hours for Cain's name, and when i found this name i found it meant 'murderer' which i guess is a little morbid but, oh well right?
