A "Human" That Likes A Skeleton

Escape/Confession Pt. 2

'hang on sophie we're coming'

when your vision faded from being f/c you looked up and saw none other then Mt. St Helens itself, you started forward and sans fell into step with you as you started to climb the mountain

you heard sans huffing and smiled in a flash of f/c you were a mountain lion and went underneath sans and stood up ending with sans on your back "whoa!" sans exclaimed and grabbed your neck you giggled and continued onward and you soon heard light snoring and smiled when you reached where you could see the lab you turned around and licked sans skull, he woke up and said "what?" 

you pointed your head towards the lab and sans understood, he nodded and said "how are we going to know which room Sophie's in?" you sniffed and strained your ears the wind was howling and snow was falling, but you thought you heard someone crying you looked towards a window that was facing you, you and sans were pretty far from the lab to avoid detection you narrowed your eyes and saw a silhouette of a woman and you recognized it, it was sophie! 

you smiled and started down towards it sans gripped your neck fur to stay on and you started to run when you reached it you slowed panting slightly, sans got off and tapped the window, which had bars in it, the window opened and sophie was standing she gasped tear stains were down her face and said "who are you?" sans smiled and said "name's sans, sans the skeleton" you turned back to a 'human' and said

 "and my name's y/n," sophie's eyes widened "y/n?!" you smiled you felt a skeletal hand grab your arm and f/c clouded your vision and you found yourself inside a cell like room sophie looked puzzledly out the window and turned around and almost screamed "whoa! next time warn me k?" you smiled and pulled sophie into a hug when you let go you heard shuffling and that's when you noticed that sophie's legs were chained to the ground you looked at the door and said "sans, unlock sophie, i'm dealing with cain" 

sans made a effort to argue but you silenced him by slipping through the bars, it was then cain himself stepped through the door your ears, tail, and wings bristled and he took a step back your eyes showed magick in it's truest form, you stepped forward and drove him back into the room he came back through you closed the door and said "well, well, well, wasn't thinking that i was this strong?" 

you smiled cain had put you through SO much crap and now that he had thought that he could just kidnap one of your friends and get away with it, oh he was so wrong cain said "you've grown, how?" you chuckled and raised your head "wouldn't you like to know," your wings glowed with runes on them same with your ears and tail cain suddenly looked scared and astonished at the same time 

"how?" you smiled and said "let's just say i had some help from a good friend of mine," your smile turned into a grimace and you summoned owl claws and pinned cain to the wall "although, some of it was from you too, cain" you grinned and turned around and you went to check sans and sophie, sophie's shackles were off and they were trying to break the bars off the windows you said "uh, guys stand back" 

they backed off sans with a knowing smile and sophie with a wondering glance you summoned a tnt kitty and pointed at the window after it exploded an alarm was raised and cain had somehow broke free from your owl claws and wretched your arms behind your back you gasped in pain and said "go! hurry!" sans said "not without you!"

 you smiled and said "sans, you have to, i'll be fine, go!" sophie jumped out of the hole in the wall and was out of sight sans looked at you and you smiled and said "sans, promise me you'll protect them," sans looked at you with a pained and knowing expression he said "i promise y/n,"

 you smile and with a blast of f/c you turned into a cat you threw a owl claw and said "i love you sans, i have ever since i told you what i was" the owl claw grabbed onto sans jacket and took him out of sight, you turned to cain but the door broke down and you gasped one last time before getting shot with a tranquilizer dart and fell darkness gripping you in it's clutches...

~<~<~<~sans' pov~>~>~>~

"i love you sans, i have ever since i told you what i was" the owl claw she threw then grabbed my jacket and tore me from sight of her i wanted to tell her i loved her too but i soon saw people at the hole that y/n's tnt kitty made and i made a run for it, sophie right beside me

 i then grabbed her arm and teleported away from that place not knowing where i would end up and we ended up at the edge of the forest that surrounded Mt. St Helens sophie looked around her and then collapsed, she sat up and said "what just happened?" i smiled but it was soon wiped from my face as i looked back

 i sighed and said "we teleported" i tried to keep it together and said "let's go back to my place," sophie narrowed her eyes, i rolled my 'eyes' "it's where y/n and her family are living now" sophie said "y/n has her apartment doesn't she?" i sighed "she lost it because her arm got broken and she was healing up at my place so she couldn't work and she forgot to pay earlier so now her family lives there"

 i was finding it hard to talk about her like this sophie said quietly "broke her arm?" i sighed again and said "i'll explain later let's get going" for some reason i couldn't stand being here anymore sophie nodded and we teleported back home...  

~<~<~<~3rd person pov~>~>~>~

after sans had teleported back to his home with sophie he explained everything that had happened from when she had broke her arm to now, after he caught her up sophie went asleep on the couch and sans was laying down on his bed undoubtedly thinking about y/n, meanwhile at the Mt. St Helens government lab DR. cain was chaining up a white and f/c spotted cat

 the spots much like a leopard and same with the size if it was with the right color pattern you would say it was a normal leopard well, except with the white wings on it's back the cat was unconscious as a result of having been shot with a tranquilizer dart just 15 mins. earlier however if you looked closely you could see that the edges of it's wings were turning black and oily, much like a crow,

 and back at sans' home in the six musket room chara and asriel felt that y/n was not among those who came back and they grew very worried they woke up and felt their feathers glow with the same f/c that colored the spots of the cat that cain had just finished chaining up,

 they felt that she was still alive and that calmed their fears a little bit but they were still scared for the life of their big sister but they tried to calm their fears by singing the song that y/n sang most often of course they weren't as on pitch as y/n was but they kept singing quietly, so as to not disturb everyone else sleeping, 

and in the morning it was gloomy and sad but papyrus had no knowledge of what had happened the night before, so he stayed his happy self questioning where older human was, but he thought it was for a good reason so he didn't voice his questions for that reason and that he was being introduced to y/n's friend sophie and preparing breakfast

 and sans, well, sans was blaming himself in his room he realized now that he could have saved y/n, and now he couldn't go back because something didn't allow him to, it felt familiar but he couldn't place it it was then the last words y/n had said to him came to his mind

 'i love you sans, i have ever since i told you what i was' she had told him she loved him and he hadn't told her directly he loved her either, yes he said it two nights ago but he had thought she was sleeping and to him that didn't count, he missed her even though he lost her only last night he missed her, her smile, her laugh, and her voice, more then anything he wanted her back and this went on for the next couple of weeks, in the lab the cat woke up and found herself chained up with special shackles she could only turn from a cat to a 'human' she couldn't use any magick and that enraged her...
