Halos mahilo ako dahil sa laki ng airport nila pero mabuti nalang ay nakuha ko kaagad ang mga bagahe ko para makauwi roon sa apartment na malapit sa aking University.
"Room 312" I whispered to myself as I got the key.
Nahagip ko iyon at pumasok. It's really modern looking and clean! Itinabi ko iyong gamit ko sa kwarto ko at aayusin ko mamaya ko gawin ang kailangan sa University. I changed in to my trench coat and washed my face. I also texted James that I finally arrived here in France dahil hapon ako dumating dito ay mga 10 ng gabi na roon kaya siguro hindi siya makaka reply agad.
Ang una kong gagawin ay hahanapin ko raw si Ms. Laurent!
"Hi, Ms! Uhm, can you tell me where Ms. Laurent is?" I asked to a woman who was sitting on a desk. She looked at me and arched a brow.
"I'm Nadine Lustre, Transferee." I said.
"She's on that office." She pointed on the other side of the room. "Just knock before you go inside." She added.
I sighed in relief. Buti nalang at marunong siya mag english! I'm still learning French!
I knocked and I heard her say something in French.
"Entrez!"
Pumasok ako at nakita ko siya na nakaupo sa isang swivel chair.
"Bonjour Mademoiselle Laurent! I'm Nadine Lustre." I introduced.
"Sit, Miss Nadine..." She said and smiled.
"You're the winner on the Exhibit right?" She asked while looking through a file.
"Yes. I accepted the University's offer."
"I was the one who personally offered it. Your works are exquisite! You take photos beautifully." She praised.
"Thank you!" I said and smiled at her.
"Scholarship offers you interior designing... Get a schedule outside. Do you need a dorm?" She asked.
"No need." I smiled.
"Okay, you'll start two days from now." She added.
"Merci!" I said and smiled.
I went outside to her secretary and got my schedule. Ah, I really can't wait! Pagkalabas ko ay nakabangga ako ng babae na may dalang libro. Nahulog siya at nahulog ang kanyang bag.
"I'm sorry!" Agad kong sabi.
"Jusko." Narinig ko siyang bumulong.
"Filipino ka?" Nakangiti kong sabi.
"Oh my god! Ikaw rin?" Tanong niya.
I nodded. "Sorry rin ah? Nagmamadali ako kumuha ng slip para sa dorm." She said.
Naalala ko na may extra bedroom iyong akin doon sa apartment na tinitirhan ko.
"Uhm, may apartment akong tinitirhan at may isa pang kwarto roon." I said smiling.
"Talaga?" Mukhang na excite siya.
