Chapter 28: Wanderlust Baby Part 2

Marami kaming ginawa ni James dito and it was sort of tiring! But, he was out since the afternoon to prepare something special for dinner. James never fails to surprise me and make me happy.  Since, he'll fetch me at 5pm, I also prepared myself. Nagpaganda ako dahil sigurado ay iyon din ang gagawin niya.

"Ano kaya mangyayari mamayang gabi?" I asked myself.

Iba't ibang plano ang nasa isip ko dahil mamaya. I smiled to the thought that he was all in for the surprise. He always gives effort to it. He never fails to amaze me.

I called Kath dahil wala na talaga akong magawa.

"Hello?" I said over the line.

"NADINE! Good thing you called, how's vacation?" She asked.

"Ang ganda dito! Magugustuhan niyo dito. Ang saya naman ng bakasyon kahit maikli lang. Last day na namin ngayon tas aalis na kami bukas."

"Ah, kaya naman pala! I was about to call you to ask about your visa since you're going to get your visa when you get back?"

"Ah, oo! Yun ang plano ko. Kasama ko si James."

"Ah, susunod ba siya?" Kath asked.

"I think he has plans pero sabi ko wag na at may iaabala pa siya sa New York. Uuwi na rin sila ni Lauren eh."

"Hmm, okay. I'm looking for flights too. Para pagka alis mo ng Pilipinas ay babalik na rin kami ni Dj sa New York."

"Baka sumabay na rin sa inyo si James, he missed alot in New York para sa akin."

"Mahal ka na mahal ka talaga nun! Ang lakas ng tama niya sa'yo!" Kath said.

Napangiti ako. After a our chat ay nag text na siya na malapit na siya matapos at susunduin niya ako. God, I'm so excited! Ngayon pa lang ay kinikilig na ako dahil sa messages niya.

James:

Tapos na ako! I can't wait for laterrrr! I can't wait to see you too 😘

Hindi ko pinansin iyong mga messages niya at nagayos nalang ako ng sarili ko. I was fixing myself until James knocked on the door.

I immediately went there and did my last prepping. I opened the door and hugged him.

"You're finally here!" I said.

"Sorry natagalan lang kami at mga staff sa pagset up. But, It'll be worth it. I promise." He explained and kissed the top of my forehead.

Binigay niya pa ang bouquet of flowers sa akin at hinalikan ako muli.

"Halika na." Aya niya at hinawak ang pkanya ko habang ang isa ay hawak ang 'iyong bulaklak.

When we were near the area of the beach, the pathway was covered with flower petals. There was a huge tent in the middle of the beach, One table, two seats facing apart.

Lights were hung inside the tent, petals were still surrounded the place. It was really beautiful. May ilang confetti rin at may balloons pa. I saw the side of the tent with a balloon hanging on top.
