Petra Pete's ex-wife, Peg, was a firm believer in tradition. Three days later she went to the Mouse Mansion to talk to who she thought was her good friend, maybe have a drink or seventeen. She knocked on the door, but no one answered.
Although Peg was a traditional woman, she wasn't quite polite or appropriate. She was sneaky and nosy, and she knew exactly where the Mouses kept their spare key.
The second bush from the right, she dug under two inches of dirt with her nails, and took the golden key to the lock. She was satisfied when the door opened. Hoping and praying no one was home, she looked through the rooms, for the slightest idea of anything suspicious.
The only thing suspicious was where Minnie Mouse had gone.
