city skylines taste so sweet to me
because my dreams
have the ability

make anything possible.
and although i know that it's silly to imagine days worth riding in cars ,
silky nighttime lights dripping off our skin ,
adventure and midnight slipping off our tongues ,
mischief to come undone >>
i know it's silly to dream all that
and especially more to dream of it with you
but please
whatever you do
don't ruin it.
instead let me take your smiles and turn them into sunlight
and drown myself in them.
so that maybe,
maybe then,
i'll be a little more bright
instead of dying from my own demons.
