Skye

I could be let out of the hospital in one hour.

60 minutes.

3600 seconds.

I smiled to myself.

I looked out of my door to see Adam and Red talking.

"-I'm sorry. I just freaked out when she said it was your fault."

"I just don't understand why she would say that. I thought we were friends." Red spoke.

I felt my eyes start to tear up.

"It's not her fault. I guess she just saw you, and panicked."

"She said it twice! She said that it was my fault twice!"

"It's hard waking up in a hospital after an accident. Believe me, no one knows it better than my family."

I gave Adam a questioning look, but then realized he wasn't looking at me.

"Adam, I just want to see her to know what happened."

"No. No one is seeing her unless it's me, or the girls."

Adam stormed off, and that left Red in front of my room.

I quickly acted as if I were sleeping.

Footsteps got louder as they got closer to me.

"Skye, you awake?"

Skye.

Why does something feel off?

I felt Red's hand on my face.

"Skye?"

I pretended to roll on my side.

I think that made Red decide to leave, because the next thing I know, he left the room.

After a few seconds, I 'woke up' and sat up, to see Red in the doorway.

"Thought that might work." Red told me.

I blinked my eyes multiple times, trying to act as if I just woke up.

I pointed to my wrist, asking what time it was.

Red took a few steps towards me. "It's 3:13."

I nodded.

"So, what made you tell Adam it was me?"

My eyes widened.

"Skye, what was it?"

I felt my breathing getting faster by the second.

"What made you lie to him? Your own brother?" Red put emphasis on lie, trying to make me crack.

I was about to crack, but I think he forgot that I couldn't talk.

"Was it because of the kiss between Bri and I?" Red asked, partially yelling.

I stopped breathing.

My heart actually froze for a second.

I pointed to the door.

And with all of my strength, I said, "Get out."
