I think I'm going to make this book a lot longer than what I expected it to be.

Hope that's okay...?

BEEP

BEEP

BEEP

I groaned then turned my alarm off.

I hate waking up early.

Wait, scratch that.

I hate getting barely any sleep.

Which happened last night, because I found a really good book online so I read it.

All. Night.

I sat up from my bed, then threw a sweatshirt on over my pajamas.

I checked my phone.

I had a few messages.

Since I deleted all of my contacts, I had messages from random numbers.

I knew you would cheat on him, you stupid jerk. I bet it was with Austin.

I sighed, then turned my phone off.

I put my phone in my pocket, then walked downstairs.

No one was here.

I guess I could make pancakes.

I make BOMB pancakes.

Like, not even from a recipe or anything.

And they're dairy free, because Adam is lactose intolerant.

Even though I could make pancakes using the lactaid that Adam has in his fridge, I decided against it.

I walked into the offices, following Adam.

"So, we need a some more new people to work in the offices." Adam told me.

I nodded.

"So far,  we have: Me, you, Brianna, John, Michael, Jordan, Ross, Tim, Em, Ashley, and Zoe."

"Wait, who's Ashley? And who's Brianna? I don't remember meeting them yesterday."

"Ashley wasn't here yesterday, but she will be here today. I think she had the flu for a week, and took an extra day off to make sure that no one else got sick."

I nodded. "That's nice. What about Brianna?"

"Brianna went on vacation for a few days."

"Cool. When will she be back?"

"I think in 3 more days." Adam responded.

"Nice."

"Anyway, I was wondering if you could scope out any other youtubers who are in the Seattle area."

"Yeah, I can do that."

"Since you are doing something for the office, I feel like we should do something in return for you."

"No! You don't have to do anything. You gave me the job, and that's enough."

"Too late." Adam said. "Follow me."

I raised an eyebrow, but followed.

He stopped in front of a door.

"Um, not to be rude, but what is it?" My gaze at Adam, then back at the door.

"It's your office!" Adam told me, smiling.

My knees almost gave out. "I-I have an office?"

Adam nodded at me. "Go, have a look."

I smiled, then opened the door.

The first thing I noticed was a huge window, with a lot of light showing in.

I absolutely LOVE windows with a good view.

I ran towards the window and looked outside.

You could see the outline of the city in the distance.

There was a busy street just outside of the office, so I got to see that as well.

"You're missing the best part, Skye." Adam told me.

I looked at him.

"Your very own monitors." He told me.

I smiled. "Thank you, Adam. Seriously."

Adam smiled back. "I'll leave you to your job, Skye."

I smiled even brighter as I turned the monitors on.

Then, I looked for Youtubers in the area.
