" umm....I am sorry! I got stuck in the traffic " I said giving him a sweet smile.

" Its okay, I understand " He said smiling back.

" I am really very sorry! It seems I kept you waiting since long " I said settling on the chair.

" No! I came just..." He said looking at me but stopped when I raised my eyebrows at him. I looked at the empty coffee cups on the table.

" Okay! Its almost been an hour since I came but its perfectly alright! " he said scratching the back of his neck.

" So you said you wanted to talk about something? " I asked him after adjusting my throat.

" umm...that... " he said nervously but interrupted by a waiter.

" Ma'am, Sir! Do you want to order something? " a waiter asked us.

" hmm..coffee? " He asked me.

" No way! I mean you already drank three cups of coffee. It isn't good to have so much of coffee. How about some Ice cream? "

" okay then! Butterscotch?? " He said looking at me.

" Perfect!! " I said beaming at him.

We placed our order and sat their nervously waiting for other to make an initiation.

" So? " I asked finally breaking the long silence.

" hmm... Meghna! I have been thinking about...." He started nervously but stopped when the waiter returned back with our order. He placed our ice creams and left. I looked at my butterscotch ice cream.

Aww...my first love!!

He asked me to have some before we talk further. I had a spoonful of ice cream. yummy!

" So? " I said looking straight into his eyes. He didn't speak but I could feel his eyes speaking volumes. I averted my gaze unable to hold it anymore.

" Meghna! I have been thinking a lot about you lately. Not only you but also about us. I don't know why but I could not stop myself from thinking about you. I don't know how or when it happened but I think...I think I am in love with you. I love you Meghna. So Will you be my Girlfriend? " he said his eyes boring into mine.

I just sat their comprehending what all he said. Did he just asked me to be His Girlfriend?

" Meghna! " he said taking my hand in his.

" huh? " I said breaking the chain of my thoughts.

" Say something! " he said nervously rubbing my hand with his thumb. A huge smile broke on my face.

" Yes Yes! " I said looking down shyly.

" What Yes? yes? " I heard him say nudging me.

" I mean, Yes I will be your....." I said but stopped when I heard him asking me to wakeup.

I squinted my eyes adjusting to the sunlight. And there stood my mom trying to wake me up from my deep sleep.
