We arrive at school and I realize it is 7:45AM! I am SUPER late!
I almost trip while getting out of the car.
Real smooth, Emma.
"Hey! Relax, I won't let him punish you," says Shawn. I can't help but blush a little at that.
We rush into the school and head straight to the principal's office.
The secretary doesn't seem to have recognized Shawn, but she's pretty young so I'm not sure if she's just pretending not to know him just to keep things professional or she really doesn't recognize him.
10 minutes pass and Shawn and I are still waiting. I'm getting really impatient.
"Ugh," I hear Shawn mutter under his breath. I guess he's getting impatient too.
Two minutes later, 7:56AM to be precise, the secretary informs us that the principal can see us now.
