Happiness:

Magical is happiness,

It offers the feeling of freedom,

and an escape from desperate over thinking,

that is a consequence of boredom.

No longer wanting to die,

Provides an energy I’ve always thought impossible,

and despite my year long doubt,

Happiness has always been inevitable.

Lost in the feeling of happiness,

I realise  every second is like gold dust,

Precious, rare and valuable,

Similar in description to trust.

It is the way forward,

I will not give up in the hands of a knife,

There is no going back,

I do deserve this life.

Welcoming the feeling of happiness,

I’ve gotten this far now,

Given up on a dangerous addiction,

To return back to my previous nature, I will not allow.

The world is a stage, my life is its play,

I am both its actress and its writer,

It’s a long winded, dramatic tale,

Its fast approaching happy ending is a dream I’ll grip onto tighter.

My thoughts are a fairytale,

With a beginning, a middle, and an end,

I’m still caught somewhere within the middle,

And before the end my mistakes I must amend.

In this life,

There is no room for regret,

I must accept that I’ve made mistakes,

And record the memories I never wish to forget.

Dead is the desire to die,

and I’m forever in your debt,

Whilst I’m alive,

I am the sun, and I will never set.
