The burn of desire:
Desire burns,
Across every corner of her skin,
Whilst drowning in waves of intense sadness,
She has no choice but to try and swim.
She’s fighting a loosing battle,
One she believes she is too young to handle,
But all hope of being successful,
She’s seeing as a fast burning candle.
Asking for help,
Seems to be the most difficult task,
However not requesting support,
could end with her continuing to wear the cowardly mask.
To one person,
Does she ever reveal the truth,
But the affects of current stress,
She fears is dragging away her youth.
Trust may seem an easy task for some,
But with a constant fear of loosing the one in possession of the very object,
It’s the most difficult task ever to indulge in,
but for myself and that person, I have more respect.
Older before her time,
She believes she should have more understanding,
Whilst flying on swift wings of depression,
She prays to end it with a safe, swift landing.
