Off they go

Nikki's Pov

"Are you sure you don't mind?" Asks Natalie

"For the thousandth time it's fine. I have a baby of my own remember? Hazel will be fine, now stop stressing and go have fun."

"Okay and thanks again I owe you." Says Natalie

"Just promise me you won't call every five minutes to check on Hazel?"

"Fine I won't call every 5 minutes." Says Natalie

"Good girl."

"Hazel come give me a hug." Says Natalie

"Coming mommy." Says Hazel running into the living room.

"Be good for auntie Nikki and uncle Chris. Me and daddy will only be gone for a week." Says Natalie

"Why can't I come?" 😕 asks Hazel

"If I could bring you with me, I would. Me and Craig need some grown up time. This is our honeymoon when I get back you'll have me all to yourself." Says Natalie

"Okay mommy." Says Hazel

"I love you princess." Says Natalie

"I love you too." Says Hazel hugging Natalie

"Get going your gonna miss your flight."

"Alright I'm going." Says Natalie

I walk her to the door and watch as she leaves. Hazel waves to Natalie.

Once there out of sight, I close the door.

"So what do you want to do Hazel?"

"Can we watch a movie?" Asks Hazel

"Sure what movie?"

"Save The Last Dance." Says Hazel

"Aren't you too young to be watching that movie?" 😳

"No my mommy lets me. I can watch whatever I want." ✋ says Hazel

"Who you getting an attitude with?"

"Leave Hazel alone let the girl watch the movie. That will keep her busy." Says Chris walking into the room.

"Fine but if Natalie gets mad at me, I'm blaming you."

"Thanks Nikki way to throw me under the bus." Says Chris

"Love you too. Hey where's Chris Jr?"

"I just put him to sleep. That's why I asked you to put the movie on. I don't want Hazel to try and wake him up. Then he'll never want to go to sleep." Says Chris

"Oh yeah true."

"I can't believe what they did yesterday." Says Chris

"Me either good thing the baby didn't get that messy. That chocolate was thick."

"We got some bad ass kids." Says Chris

"Remind you of anyone?"

"We were bad too. I ain't even gonna lie." Says Chris

"Hello is anyone gonna put on movie?" 😒 asks Hazel with her hand on her hip.

"Girl your too much. Don't you see two grown folks talking?"

"Sorry auntie Nikki." Says Hazel

"That's better." Now go get yourself a snack and I'll put on your movie."

"Yay," says Hazel skipping into the kitchen.

"I don't know if I can handle her for a week. That girl got a mouth on her." 😩

"Well if she gets too bad we can give her to Aaliyah. She never acts bad in front of Aaliyah. My nigga got her ass in check." Says Chris

"Which reminds me if Hazel acts up, I'll call Aaliyah." 👌

"Good because I'm not into spanking anybody's kids, but I will if she don't act right. One thing I cannot stand is a child that can't act right." Says Chris

"Let's just pray that Hazel behaves herself."

"I hope so." Says Chris

I go over to our movie collection and grab the DVD. I set up the TV and put the movie in. Here now this will shut her up.

A few minutes later Hazel walks in with a bag of chips.

"You didn't want something to drink?"

"I couldn't reach the juice." Says Hazel

"Aww I'll go get it."

I walk into the kitchen and grab a juice box.

I walk back into the living room and see Hazel sitting on Chris's lap.

"How cute." ☺️

For once Hazel is behaving herself. Seeing them together makes me think of when me and Chris have a girl. I'm sure he'll be a great dad to our daughter. 💁

"Come sit with us auntie Nikki. You're gonna miss the movie." Says Hazel

"I'm coming."

I walk over to the couch and sit down next to them.

Maybe babysitting Hazel won't be so bad after all. 🌚
