Chris's Pov

When I finally got off work, I went to visit Ray. I felt bad after all that went down. I know Craig would flip if he found out that I was talking to Ray. I decided not to tell him.

When I got to his hospital room I wanted to turn back around. My boy looked awful but I didn't want to give off bad energy. So I put on a big smile and walked into his room.

"Hey man what's up?"

Ray doesn't say anything he just looks at me. I sit down next to him. He reaches out his hand and I hold it. All he does is squeezes my hand. He's probably in too much pain to talk. Before I went in, the doctors told me what happened. He had a few broken ribs, a broken leg and nose. I felt bad all over again.

"I'm so sorry Ray." 😔

I see a tear running down his cheek.

I sat with him the whole day. Until visiting hours were over. I could've stayed the night if I wanted to. I decide to just go home. I'm sure Nikki's waiting for me anyway.

When I get home I see Nikki on the phone. I bet she's gossiping with Aaliyah they stay on the phone for hours. I go upstairs and find Chris Jr. I pick him up out his crib and hold him. 😍

I hold him for the longest, staring at him. My lil nigga is so gorgeous. "Tomorrow I'm taking you shopping. I'm gonna get us some matching clothes." 😊

Baby Chris just looks at me with big brown eyes.

The next day I wake up early and leave a note for Nikki. I don't feel like waiting for her so I took Chris with me. I'm sure she'll be happy to have a break. I grab the baby bag and make sure I have enough food and toys. Then I put his pacifier in his mouth. We head out the door and I put him in his car seat. I make sure to get him some food on the way to the mall.

Once we get there I take him to nearly every store in the mall. Woman kept throwing themselves at me all day. Once they saw me with only my son it was like taking candy from a baby. I got all kind of love. Woman were giving me there number they paid for my lunch. Hey I wasn't complaining. 😌👌

I was on my way to my car when this girl stopped me. "Is this your baby, he looks just like you." Asks a girl who doesn't look a day over 17. 😳

"Yeah that's my son."

"He's so cute can I hold him?" Asks the girl.

"Yeah sure."

"I'm Kelly." Says the girl.

"I'm Chris and this is Chris jr. "

"Do you have a girlfriend?" Asks Kelly

"Yeah I do."

When I tell her, her expression changes. She looks a little disappointed that I'm not single. I mean a few months ago I would have been excited. But now it's like I'm at a good place with Nikki. I really don't want to miss things up with her.

My phone goes off and I see that it's Nikki.

"Where are you?" Asks Nikki

"I'm at the mall. I wanted to take the baby shopping."

"Why didn't you bring me. I need clothes too." 😩 Says Nikki

"I'm sorry baby you look tired and I didn't want to wake you. So I left with out you."

"Next time wake me up. I went crazy this morning when I looked and both you were gone. Don't scare me like that again." Says Nikki

"You didn't get my note?"

"What note?" Asks Nikki

"The note I left for you downstairs."

"Oh that I didn't read it I thought it was trash. So I thew it out." Says Nikki

"Well you should have read it. Then you wouldn't be calling me like this. I wanted to have some time with my son. You can go shopping with your girls."

"Okay are you coming home soon?" Asks Nikki

"Yeah I am."

"See you then love you." Says Nikki

"Love you too bye."

I hang up the phone and see Kelly still standing there.

"I didn't mean to get you in trouble." Says Kelly

"I'm not in trouble my girl was just asking where I'm at. I gotta go but it was nice meeting you."

"Same here I hope we meet again." Says Kelly

She hands me back Chris jr. And I put him into his car seat.
