Craig's Pov

"We've been together for awhile now and I'm tired of waiting. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and Hazel. I want us to one day have a family. I love you so much and I can't live without you. Natalie will you marry me?"

"Craig I don't know what to say." 😪 Says Natalie

"Baby say yes."

"Yes I'll marry you." Says Natalie

I take the ring out of its case and place it on her finger.

I left her off the ground and plant kisses all over her.

"I'm so happy." Says Natalie

"Me too I know we're young but I love you. I don't want anyone else."

"Same here I don't even care. We were meant to be together. I don't care what anyone says. If I didn't go with Ray, I wouldn't know what I don't want in a man. You showed me what love is." Says Natalie

"Too bad it's his lost. Cuz your mine now and I ain't giving you back." 😏

"I can't wait to tell the others." 😁 Says Natalie

"The guys already I told them weeks ago."

"I still have to tell my girls." 💁 Says Natalie

"Of course baby."

"Now that we're getting married are you gonna stop selling dope?" Asks Natalie

"I don't wanna hear that right now. I just proposed to you and that's what you ask me."

"I'm sorry I just wanna know. I hate constantly worrying about you getting shot at, arrested, or killed. It's driving me crazy. I mean the money was nice at first but it's not worth losing you over." Says Natalie

"I told you that's not gonna happen. Jacob, Chris and I are so good. No one can get us. They always have my back ain't no one gonna mess with us. Have you forgot we are the most respected on the streets. People know not to mess with us."

"You say that but I still worry about you. I'm only saying this because I love you." Says Natalie

"I know it's gonna be okay I promise you. I'm not going anywhere."

"Okay." Says Natalie

"Now finish your food before it gets cold."

"I'm not really hungry." Says Natalie

"Speak for yourself." I reach over and take a bite out of her steak.

My phone starts going off before I can even enjoy myself.

"Hello."

"Craig man we need you." Says Jacob

"Where y'all at?"

"We at the spot just come quick." Says Jacob

"It can't wait I'm with Natalie right now."

"Nah nigga we need you ASAP." Says Jacob

"Alright I'm on my way."

"Who was that?" Asks Natalie

"It's not important. I gotta go handle something. Ill be back later okay?"

"When will you be back?" Asks Natalie

"Don't worry about it. I won't be long okay. Give Hazel a kiss for me."

"Fine," says Natalie.

I kiss her on the forehead and bounce.

I Jump into my car and head towards the old warehouse. When I get there I see Chris and Jacobs car there. I get out and head inside.

"What's up?"

"Look at this shit." 😒 Says Jacob

I look and see what he's talking about. The cameras show one of our men stealing drugs and money from us.

"I can't believe this shit."

"I know wait till I see that nigga he's dead." Says Chris

"What we gonna do?" Asks Jacob

"We gonna find him and bash his brains out." 😡😤

"This is crazy." Says Chris

"I told you I didn't trust him. No more bringing new people in." 😠

"Alright never again." Says Jacob

"Is that all you had to show me?"

"Yeah that's it." Says Chris

"Can you handle everything then?"

"Yeah I gotchu." Says Chris

"Good cuz I gotta get back home. Call me later."

"Okay Will do boss." Says Chris

I give him a dap and turn to leave. I'm beyond piss but at the same time it could've been worse. I get in my car and back out of the lot.

I decide to stop by the toy store. I pick up Hazel a new doll and a giant teddy bear.

When I get home I find Natalie in our bedroom.

As soon as I walk in she puts down her book and looks at me.

"Your back." Says Natalie

"Are you surprised? I told you it wouldn't take long."

"I guess you weren't lying." Says Natalie

"Look what I got Hazel."

"She'll love it. You love spoiling her don't you?" Asks Natalie

"Of course she's like a daughter to me. I love that little girl so much. In my eyes she is my own flesh and blood."

"Same with her she adores you. When I put her to bed she kept asking where's Craig." Says Natalie

"I'm gonna give this to her tomorrow morning."

"Sounds good to me." Says Natalie

I place the doll and teddy bear on the dresser. I take off and my shirt and pants. I change into some sweat pants and no shirt. I take off my jewelry and climb into bed.

"You still mad at me?"

"No I guess I over reacted. Your just trying to take care of us." Says Natalie

"Exactly that all I'm trying to do. You still wanna be my wife right?"

"Of course." Says Natalie she's kisses me and I pull her into my arms.

"I love you," I say in between kisses.

"I love you too," says Natalie.
