After last night I was so confused. It's like one minute Aaliyah wants me, the next she's got a new nigga. That girl is so damn confusing. I love her and always will. It's all stressing me out being a father and a boyfriend. I need a fix so bad. I call up Craig and he's supplies me with that good good.

I needed to be relaxed. I know Aaliyah would kill me if she found out I was using again. Hey she drove me to this. No one knows I've been using except for Craig. Well Chris might know but he won't say shit. He's too busy with Nikki and Chris jr.

I start to miss my boy Ray. He's like a brother to me. When I have something on my mind I always go to him. After the whole Natalie thing, I never see him anymore. I'm sure he would be happy to see me. Maybe ill stop by his crib. He recently moved back into town. Even after what Craig did to him. I have a reason why he's here. He's gonna try and ruin Natalie's wedding.

***** A few hours later

Me and Ray are chilling. He's showing me around his new place. It's has him written all over it. There's even a dance studio. He keeps saying he's gonna be famous one day. "My skills are sick I'm telling you. You'll all be sorry when I'm rich and famous. Natalie will be sorry she ever left me." Says Ray

"If you don't get over her! She doesn't want you. I'm pretty sure she's pregnant with Craig's baby. So now you really gotta keep it moving. I know you love her I get it. At the same time you weren't the greatest boyfriend. I know I've done shit to my girl but I ain't ever hit her. A girl is only gonna stay for so long. I thought you were Ray2wice you can have any girl you want. So why you stressing over one chick?" 😒

"You don't understand. I can't let her go okay I just can't. I want another chance. She belongs with me and only me. I'm not letting her go without a fight. I don't care what Craig does. I'm still gonna do what I want. I want Natalie to say she doesn't love me anymore. Until she can look me in my eye and say those words I'm not backing down. There are no words to describe her. Say I'm sprung if you want. I am and I can't help it nor will I try." Says Ray

"Please don't do anything stupid."

"Like what?" Asks Ray

"Like object to them getting married. Craig would kill you."

"Please he's not touching me again. She was mine first." ☝ Says Ray

"I give up you're crazy. I'm glad to you moving around again. We could go clubbing and find you a new girl. How does that sound?" 🌚

"That's fine but I already have a girl." Says Ray

"No you don't! Maybe if you get a new girl Natalie will get jealous. Bring her around Natalie I'm sure it will drive her crazy. Then you can see how she really feels. Trust me it will work. I don't know how to get you around Craig though."

"We can work around that." Says Ray

"If he sees you've moved on he won't care. So lets do that then you can catch him off track. He will be shocked to see that you moved on. This can work I see it now!"

"You'll really help me?" Asks Ray

"You're my bro ill do anything for you. I just want you to be happy. I'm down for anything except for crashing someone's wedding. "

"That will be called off as soon as I get my girl back. I know what I'm doing." 😏👌 says Ray

"I hope so because Craig would be livid if he knew I was helping you. I mean he's my bro too."

"But he stole what's mine." Says Ray

"I believe you and Natalie were long broken up. It's not like she started creeping with him behind your back. You cheated on her remember. I hope it works out. If it doesn't let it go. Promise me this is your last time."

"I can't promise that." Says Ray

"You need to because after awhile shit gets old. You gonna fool around and push her closer to Craig. That's what happen with me and A. I pushed her to Daniel."

"I see what your saying. Fine this is my last time. After this I'm done for good. I mean we were good friends. It's better than nothing right?" 😐 Asks Ray

"Yeah then you'll always be in her life."

"Very true. So how are you and A?" Asks Ray

"I don't even know. She claims to love me so much. Yet when shit gets tough she's gone. She doesn't understand that I have a problem. I can't help what the hell I do."

"Your using again?" Asks Ray

"Yeah man."

"Did she cause you to do this?" Says Ray

"Yeah she's always the reason. I never told her that."

"It's time you do just that. Tell her why you do drugs. I don't wanna loose you man. Please get some help. I think you need rehab like Mia. She's doing so well and she's almost done. It's not so bad it will help you. What happens if you die. Then baby prince won't have a father. Aaliyah would die if she lost you. You're a father now you should put your son before you. You of all people know what it's like to not have a father in your life. So why do that to your own son. Do you love crack cocaine more than your son?" Asks Ray

"I love my son."

"Then I think we found our answer. Talk to Aaliyah first. Let me know how it goes." Says Ray

"It's gonna be hard but ill try."

"I'll let you go, so you can handle ya business." Says Ray

"Alright later man."

"Good luck." Says Ray

"Thanks we all know I need it."

I leave Rays house feeling on edge.

As soon as I get home I find Aaliyah.

"We need to talk."

"It can't wait? I'm I was in the middle of something." Snaps Aaliyah

"No it can't wait."

I grab her out of the kitchen and drag her upstairs.

I close the door behind us.

"I've been lying to you. I started using again."

"Jacob are you kidding me?" Says A

"You're the reason I keep doing this shit. Our relationship is so fucking dysfunctional. You keep running away every time I need you. It's hard being a dad. I'm trying the best I can. I'm going through some shit and I need my girlfriend. It seems like you only have time for your girls and the baby."

"I didn't know you felt this way. I'm sorry if I ignore you. I really don't mean it. Should we go to couples therapy?" asks A

"That's a great idea! Then I don't need rehab. Lets work out our problems. We've been a mess ever since I cheated."

"Lets work through this. A relationship isn't easy. It doesn't help when we don't have 3 major things. Communication, trust, and loyalty for each other." Says Aaliyah

"I'll find a therapist as soon as I can."

"Good. In the meantime where you been?" Asks Aaliyah

"I was chilling with Ray."

"How is he?" Asks Aaliyah

"He's good and he's place is dope."

"I'm glad to see him back on his feet. Is he still tripping over Natalie?" Asks A

"That's what he does best."

"Oh great just add more stress to the poor girl. She's gonna flip when I tell her." Says A

"Don't do that word will get back to Craig. Then it's all over, shut will hit the fan. Craig might just kill him this time."

"Nah he's done with that. Natalie tells me she made him promise to stop. I guess I don't have to tell her about Ray. Ill keep my mouth shut for now." 🙊 Says A

"Good girl. For once your not getting involved. You so busy in everyone else's relationship, it's like you forgot about us."

"I tend to do that a lot. I'm just a good ass friend. I know they would do the same for me." Says A

"I would appreciate if you give me some attention." 😫

"Fine how about we go out to dinner? Just me and you ill drop the baby off." Says A

"Sounds good to me. Call Natalie up and see if prince can come over."

"Tonight that's such short notice." Whine A

"You're the one who suggested it in he first place!"

"I'll call her now. Go pack the baby's bag." Says A

"That's more like it."

I go into Princes room and find him playing with a toy.

"Hey lil man."

"Da da." Says Prince 😊

"You want to see your cousin Hazel?"

"Yay." Says Prince he starts jumping up and down.

I start to pack his things. Once I'm finished I change his diaper. I pick him up and bring him to my bedroom.

I see Aaliyah already dressed.

"Wow that was quick."

"A girl should always have a little black dress." 💁 Says A

"Ooo kill em. You look good enough to eat." 😏

"Your so crazy!" Says A

I put prince down on the bed and quickly get dressed. I fluff my fro to make sure it's perfect. I look in the mirror one more time. Damn I look good like a million bucks.👌

After we drop the baby off, we head to our favorite restaurant. I didn't get a chance to make reservations. I know the owner so it was cool. We had a table outside. The beach just happen to be next to us. With the water rocking back and fourth it was very peaceful.

"I'm so happy we get a night out. We never have any alone time."

"This is nice, but it's weird not having the baby with me. We should do this more often." Says A

"I agree."

"After dinner you want to walk by the water?" Asks A

"That would be nice. Lets do that afterwards."

"Wanna go skinny dipping?" 🌚👯 asks A

"Getting freaky aren't we. We'll make it happen."

"I have a surprise for you, and I want you to see it." Says A

"I love surprises I can't wait."
