As soon as I walk through the door I try not to make a sound. Aaliyah hates when I'm out all night. I had no choice Craig needed me there. That was my job it put food on the table. Clothes on my sons back. I tried to sneak to the kitchen. I was starving and didn't even get a chance to eat. I was about to open the fridge when the kitchen light came on.

"Ha I caught you!" Says Aaliyah

"You scared the shit out of me. What are you doing up?"

"I should ask you the same thing. You've been out all night." Says Aaliyah

"I had business to take care of."

"Yeah whatever." Says Aaliyah

"Where's Prince?"

"He's asleep upstairs." Says Aaliyah

I fight my urge to eat something and go upstairs. When I get to our room I see Prince fast asleep. He looks so peaceful sleeping. 😍

I pick him up careful not to wake him.

"Da da." Says prince

So much for not waking him up.

"Hi baby daddy missed you."

Prince smiles and holds my finger with his hand.

"Why did you wake him? Now he'll be asleep all day tomorrow since you have him up." Says Aaliyah

"You know I can't sleep without seeing my son. You need to stop tripping." 😒👏👏

"I'm tired of this. Why can't you get a real job?" Asks Aaliyah

"I'm not about to do this right now. I have a job and if you don't like get off your ass and get one then."

"I'm busy taking care of the baby. That's your job to care of me." Says Aaliyah

"I do take care of you. Look at all the clothes I buy you, look at the brand new car I bought you outside. Have you not seen out house. Prince is well taken care of. Look at the 12 carrot diamond ring in his ears. No job will give me money like this. "

"I'm scared Jacob." Says Aaliyah

"Of what?" 😳

"You being killed. I don't want to lose you. Please just promise me you'll be careful?" 😔 Says Aaliyah

"Baby I promise I didn't mean to worry you. Look ill calm down if that's what you want. I'm always at the warehouse making sure things go right. Chris is always by my side. You know he ain't gonna let something happen to me. He's like my pit bull. People know not to mess with me." 😁

"If you say so." Says Aaliyah

"Lets go to bed we can talk about this in the morning."

"Okay." Says Aaliyah

I bring baby prince to the bed with us. I've gotten into the habit of letting him sleep with us. What can I say he's spoiled.

We both get in and I place the baby in the middle.

The next morning I wake up to the smell of bacon. I look and see the baby isn't beside me. I go brush my teeth, take a shower and throw on some sweats. I walk downstairs and see Aaliyah making breakfast.

"Cooking for daddy I see." 😏👌

"Your crazy," says Aaliyah.

"But you love me anyway." 🌚

I walk over to the table sit down. Baby prince is in his high chair drinking from his sippy cup.

"Can I have some?"

"Waaaahhhh," screams prince.

"You know he hates it when people take his cup. Give it back." Says Aaliyah

"Look at this you've got mommy wrapped around your finger."

I give prince back his cup. I run my fingers through his head full of curls. "Your hair is shiny just like daddy. Keep this up and one day your gonna be getting all the girls."

"Stop my baby is not getting any girls. I'm keeping him close by my side. I don't want no smuts near my baby." 😒👐 says Aaliyah

"Look mommy getting all protective of you. She's such a good mother."

"It's my job." 💁 Says Aaliyah

"And your doing a fine job. I'm always out making money. While your at home taking care of prince. Thank you for doing such a good job. I promise I'm gonna be home more. I miss you we barely spend time together."

"Exactly. Maybe you should talk to Craig. If you want ill take to Natalie. She can get that boy to do anything." Says Aaliyah

"Yeah your right. You call up your girl. That way I know he won't say no."

"Okay I will as soon as I'm done cooking." Says Aaliyah

"Thanks I owe you. Maybe I will go get that necklace you've been wanting."

"Really? But it's $1000" Says Aaliyah

"Didn't I tell you money is not an objects if you want the necklace then it's yours. My girl can have Whatever she wants."

"Aw thank you Jacob you're the best. Come over here so I can kiss you." Says Aaliyah

I walk over and kiss her. For once life is good me and her aren't fighting over silly stuff. I really think the baby made things better. With him around we don't have to fight anymore. Baby prince was the best thing that ever happen to us.

"I love you Aaliyah."

"I love you too." Says Aaliyah

"Don't ever leave me again. No matter how much I drive you crazy or make you sick. I want this for the long run."

"I'm never leaving again. I want this here to last forever. I can't imagine life without you. Flaws and all your mine. I'm gonna ride with you till the wheels fall off." 😌 Says Aaliyah

"That's my ride or die chick. I love it when you talk like that." 😍😍

"You better do the same with me. You better not be back on that stuff." Says Aaliyah

"Baby I swear I'm not, I've been clean for a year now. I ain't going back to that."

"Good cuz if you do, ill chop all those beautiful curls off." 👿 Says Aaliyah

"Baby don't talk like that you're scaring me."😐
