Nikki's Pov

"Nikki are you asleep?" Asks Chris

"Well I was trying to. I gave up on waiting for you to come home. My precious sleep is noting to play with. Besides I need my beauty rest."

"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you. Me and the boys had such a good time. I guess I lost track of time. I haven't hung out with Ray and in a long time." says Chris

"I know I'm happy you guys are all getting along. You've wanted the drama too stop for while."

"Exactly it seems like everything is finally in place. Well almost everything. We need to talk." Says Chris

"Right now it can't wait until the morning?"

"No it can't please?" Begs Chris

"Okay fine well talk."

"Look I'm sorry for how I acted these last few days. We were having such a good time at dinner. Then we had to run into your ex. I just snapped I can't help it Nikki. I love you so much words can't even explain it. After I found out you cheated on me, I was hurt. I'm slowly started to trust you again. I love you and I love our son. I hate when we fight especially over something so silly. I'm gonna take Craig's advice and trust you. There's no need to dawn on the past." Says Chris

"I'm sorry too for getting jealous over Kelly. If you guys are just friends then I believe you. I think we both have trust issues."

"Yeah we do maybe we should consider going to a couples the therapist." Says Chris

"I never thought of that before. You're right maybe we should. I'll do anything to make this work."

"Same here. I love you Nikki I know sometimes I don't show it, but I do. I've been in love you with since the day I met you." Says Chris

"Aww that was the sweetest thing you've ever said to me. I love you too Chris." 😘

"So did you have fun tonight?"

"Yeah I did I haven't been this happy in a while. We started battling on the dance floor. Everyone was cheering us on. I loved the feeling I got such a rush from it. Baby you should have seen us." Says Chris

"I'm sad I didn't you probably wiped the floor with the other boys."

"Oh you already know how I do. My crew and I are unstoppable. One say we'll make it official. We're just waiting on Ray. We trying to see what's up with him. Might as well so something productive you know. This whole running the streets thing isn't stable." Says Chris

"Like I've said many times before, it'll only take you two places to the grave or a jail cell."

"I don't want either of those options. I have my whole life too live." Says Chris

"I'm happy you're finally taking what I said serious. What's with the sudden change?"

"Let's just say tonight has changed me. The guys and I were talking about what we want to do with our lives. That was a wake up call. This shit ain't forever. I got a family to take care of I need to step my game up." Says Chris

"I agree 100%. I don't know what happened to the old Chris, but I'm loving the new one. I love that you want to take care of us."

"If course I don't who else will? Your my girl and you'll always be taken care of." Says Chris

"This little talk was nice. I'm falling asleep the baby had me up for the longest. You know he's gotten into a habit of sleeping with us. He doesn't even want to sleep in his bed anymore."

"Then I'll get my lil man so he can sleep with us." Says Chris

He gets off the bed and picks up Chris Jr. bringing him to bed with us.

"Place him in the middle."

Chris puts the baby right in the middle, then turns off the light.

"Goodnight Chris."

"Goodnight boo." Says Chris reaching over to kiss me on the cheek.

"Sweet dreams lil man." Says Chris stroking his fingers through baby Chris's curls.

The next day I wake up and notice it's awfully quiet. I look next to me and see that Chris and the baby are gone.

I check the baby's room and don't see them. I go downstairs and see Chris feeding the baby.

"There you guys are. You scared me so bad I woke up and you guys were gone." 😐

"I didn't mean to scare you. I just thought I should let you sleep, you looked so tired. I don't mind taking care of the baby while your sleeping. Are you hungry?" Asks Chris

"Yes I'm always hungry."

"Look in the oven. While you were asleep I went to Denny's and got you breakfast." Says Chris

"That was nice of you. Thank you baby." I give Chris a kiss then walk over to the oven.

Sure enough I see a stack of fluffy pancakes, screamed eggs, a hash brown and bacon.

Ive just fallen into Heaven. I quickly grab the food out and take a seat at one of the bar stools.

I grab a fork and dig in.

"Aren't you hungry or did you already eat?"

"Nah in straight I had a protein shake." 😌👌 says Chris

"Suit yourself I'm about to tear this food up." 😁🙌

************ Later on that day

"What do you think?" Asks Natalie as she walks out of the dressing room.

Today all of the girls went for a fitting of the bridesmaids dresses.

"That gown looks beautiful on you." Says Aaliyah

"She's right you have to get it. Craig will go crazy when he sees you on that dress." Says Mel

"I've fallen in love with this dress. You guys are right I'm buying this dress." Says Natalie

"Mommy you can't buy this dress." Says Hazel

"Why not?" Asks Natalie

"Your whole back is out. Mommy you need to cover up." Says Hazel

"Your right but this is mommy's big day. I can't dress different just this one time. When you're an adult you can do the same thing." Says Natalie

Hazel doesn't say anything she just pouts.

"Now that I have my dress, what about everyone else? Are the bridesmaids dresses okay?" Asks Natalie

"Purple is such a pretty color. I love my dress it fits just right. I have the perfect heels to match it."

"Natalie you know us so well. Each dress has a design that fits out personality. It's like we all have the same dress on except each one has a little flavor to it." Says Mia

"I can wait to wear mine." Says Mel

"What?" Says everyone at the same time.

"Melanie I'm shocked you hate dresses and heels. You despise getting all dressed up. What happened to you?" 😳😱

"Nothing has changed I don't mind getting fancy every now and then. Plus Deion Says I look sexy in purple, he says it's my color." Says Mel

"Ohh I get it your getting all sexy for you man. Go youuu." 💁

"Well you know I gotta kept myself looking right." Says Mel placing her hands on her hip.

"Mel I'm scared of you. Girl you better work it." Says Aaliyah

"You better work, you better work it girl. You better work you better work it girl." Says Natalie starting to dance. She sash-says around the store.

"I'm so done with you." Says Aaliyah

"I'm mad you walking like this is a fashion show."

"Love you too." Says Natalie

"Enough of this runway model stuff I'm ready to eat."

"Alright fine. Since everyone is fitted for their dress we can go." Says Natalie

After we take off our dresses, we wait near the front.

Natalie pays for the dresses and we leave.

"Do you think the guys got their tuxes already?" Asks Natalie

"You know how guys are they never do anything on time."

"Let me call Jacob and see if they're done. Then we can all go out to eat for lunch." 🌚 says Aaliyah

"Good idea call him, and let us know what he says. I'm in need if seeing my baby. I can't go too long without seeing baby Chris." 😩

"Aww don't worry I'm calling him now." Says Aaliyah

Aaliyah pulls out her phones and stats dialing Jacob.

"Put him on speaker phone."

"Okay hold on." Says Aaliyah

She pushes the button and we hear the ringing. After the third ring we all hear Jacobs voice.

"Hey Bae what's up?" Asks Jacob

"Are you guys finished with your fitting?" Asks Aaliyah

"Yeah we're about to leave now." Says Jacob

"Perfect we just finished too. Meet us at Friendlys so we can have lunch together." Says Aaliyah

"Alright I'll tell the boys and we'll there in 10 minutes." Says Jacob

"Okay bye see you then." Says Aaliyah

She hangs up the phone and puts it back in her bag.

"See how easy that was," says Aaliyah.

"I'm surprised they actually went on time."

"I know right I would have thought they made a few stops first." Says Mia

"I guess not they proved us wrong."

"Let's make our way over to Friendlys so we can get enough seats." Says Natalie

"Yay Friendlys I love that place. They have yummy chicken tenders and ice cream." 😊 says Hazel

"Look whose talking again."

"You were silent for a long time." Says Natalie

"I'm sorry I was bad earlier mommy." Says Hazel giving Natalie a hug.

"It's okay I forgive you." Says Natalie

"Hazel you gotta be a good girl. Remember we talked about this. No more giving your mom trouble right?"

"Yes auntie Nikki I promise." Says Hazel smiling at me.

"Good lets keep it that way." ☝️

We all walk over to the restaurant and a waiter greets us. He leads us to our seat all the way in the back. We decide to have two big tables since there's so many of us.

Us girls order for the boys. We know them all too well.

When they finally walk in, I notice a big grin on all of their faces.

"Okay what's so funny? What are y'all up to?" 😳

"Chill Nikki you'll just have to wait and see." Says Ray with a big ass smirk on his face.

"I bet I know what they cheesing over." Whispers Aaliyah in my ear.

"What?"

"They bout to have a wild crazy ass bachelor party. Watch they have some strippers." Says Aaliyah

"What they better not. I don't want no stripper all up in my mans face shaking her goodies. Why pay for that we has me. I give him shows all the time."

"Whoa there buddy too much information." Says Aaliyah

"Whatever you know you want to hear about it."

"Fineee tell me later on. When everyone isn't at the table with us." Says Aaliyah
