Gazetteer - Important Names, Places, Stuff

You can read this over if you're waiting for me to update and forgot something. It's pretty up-to-date. 

People

Hikari 
- Spirit Eye
- Akuma borrowed her body to slay Tsugu 
- refused to go back into her body after because *ahem* her spirit was too weak 

Akuma (MC)
- was possessed by a demon, Tsugu, as a child, and forced out of her body, and who used Hikari's body to come back and slay him; she reclaimed her own 
- discovered Spirit abilities at the end of the battle with Tsugu 
- has immense spiritual energy: enough to slay immediately slay demons or kill a person, shatter pieces of a Dark Dimension, instantly transport fifty people easily across Sekai 
- learning how to lead (mostly) 
- uses a kyoketsu shoge (a weapon with two blades coming out of each other attached to a rope that has a metal ring on the other end . . . I don't know how to explain it better than that - look it up)

Kasai 
- can't survive without Inochi, her katana, which has a piece of her soul in it; it also has part of a demon's essence, giving her advanced speed and accuracy
- teaching self how to forge armors 
- uses name "Kasai" because it is the name of her imaginary demonslaying persona as a child

Aya
- most experienced of Sureiyazu (has been there the longest) 
- uses a bo staff with crystals embedded in the top 
- is a Summoner, a wizard who binds Summoner's Creatures into their service and calls on them in times of need
- Summoned the demon that destroyed much of her village (hence the running away, and then Master Shi found her) 
- currently has bound Tora, a fat cat who turns into a sabre tooth tiger, Shinrin, representative of the forest, and Netsu, representative of fire and heat 
- has also met Mizu, representative of water and tides, and Sukai, representative of winds and the sky 

Yuri
- is a princess from Hana Firudo 
- can transform into another form, a dark-looking monster with spikes all over and no sense of humanity; this is because when she was a baby she died and was brought back to life by witches
- considered to have died in a tragic accident in her kingdom so that her mom doesn't have to explain what she is 
- uses a tetsubo (something like a baseball bat crossed with a club - again, look it up) which she can call on and store away with the only magic she knows how to use
- may or may not have a huge crush on Heishi 

Master Shi
- the master of the Sureiyazu
- one of the original Sureiyazu: he loved a girl on the team, Asuka, but she died young in battle
- uses a scythe named Jinsoku and the Reaper Technique, where he absorbs the souls of demons in order to power up himself and live longer
- demons he had absorbed possessed him and the Sureiyazu killed him 
- Akuma has only seen his spirit one time since his death 

Asuka 
- was on the original team of Sureiyazu 
- died young in battle with a demon 
- uses a spear and the Defender Technique 
- realized only after her death that Shi loved her 

Bijinesu 
- one of the original Sureiyazu
- uses a kodachi (a short katana) and the One Technique
- brother to Tsuyoi 

Tsuyoi 
- one of original Sureiyazu 
- wields a giant hammer and uses the Giant Technique 
- brother to Bijinesu 

Heishi 
- was the head of security in the Hana Firudo castle 
- was fired and banished for treason (helping Yuri escape when she was to be executed) 
- uses a greatsword and the traditional sword arts of Hana Firudo 
- refuses to accept the fact that he was fired 
- is kind of a goody-two-shoes when it comes to the Army of Sekai 

Mizuki 
- worked for a man as an assassin and bodyguard in the Order of Karasu until he was possessed
- she still worked for him even after she found out that he was being possessed by a demon but it was slain and she was freed 
- uses two daggers, one in her left longer than the one in her right 
- has a runaway brother who was in the Order with her, Hayato 
- once began to learn a dying magic, Time, which can change things to a previous or later time in existence
