Mackenzie: The Runaway - Meeting Up

Luke POV:

Kyle and I are going to meet up with the rest of the group. I hope they're okay with seeing him. I heard Johnny said some rumors about him though.

Chloe POV:

I feel like Johnny is not telling us what really happened to Kyle. I mean, I have his wallet and phone! I just hope Luke found him.

Me: "Johnny. I need to speak with you. NOW!"

Johnny: "O...kay."

He steps aside from the others.

Johnny: "What is it?"

Me: "What really happened to Kyle?"

Johnny: "He ditched you guys. Duh!"

I push him against the wall.

Me: "Johnny."

Johnny: "Chloe, I'm telling you, he..."

Just then, a van pulled up and so did a sports car.

Nia: "Guys, everyone's here."

Out the van comes Maddie, Paige and Brooke.

Nia: "Hey, good to see all of..."

Maddie: "Where is she?"

I point at Kyle's car and Mackenzie comes out.

Everyone: "Mackenzie!!"

Everyone hugs Kenzie.

Maddie: "Mackenzie Frances Ziegler. Don't ever scare any of us like that again!"

Another car then pulls up.

Paige: "Who's that?"

Me: "It's Luke."

Luke then hops out the car.

Luke: "Hey everyone."

Maddie: "Luke, what are you doing here? Did Kyle send you?"

Luke: "Why don't you ask Johnny what happened."

Everyone turns to Luke.

Johnny: "I don't know what he's talking about? Why are you here?"

Suddenly out of nowhere,

"Stop lying Simpson."

Mackenzie: "I know that voice anywhere. It's Kyle."

Luke: "Kyle, that was not the.."

Kyle hops out the car.

Me: "Oh my god Kyle, you're in such bad shape, and you smell a little."

Mackenzie: "What are you doing here.? I thought you went back to Pittsburgh."

Kyle: "What the f*** did Johnny say?"

Mackenzie: "He said you gave up looking for me, broke up with Chloe, ditched Jazzy and Sprinter and the others, and went back to Pittsburgh."

Kyle: "First of all, Johnny forced me to stop looking for you. I never broke up with Chloe and he drove the van off with my wallet and phone inside."

Me: "So Johnny, you lied in my face, huh."

Luke: "Kyle, I think he's jealous of your popularity."

Kyle: "Can't we all just see now who's the most jealous of his own girlfriend's popularity. It's Johnny. Mackenzie, Johnny wanted to find you so he could be popular and called a hero."

Mackenzie: "What about you? Why did you keep looking for me?"

Kyle: "Mackenzie, I care about you. I didn't want you to get hurt. That's even why I told Jenna and Lola to leave in the first place. I don't care who has more followers on Twitter or YouTube or Instagram, or a bigger fan-army. Right now, all that matters is that your safe."

Mackenzie: "Thanks Kyle."

I'm so proud of Ross. He stayed strong no matter what.

Me: "Casey. I guess that's bye for you."

Kyle: "Wait! Where's Jazzy?"

Nia: "She turned off at an intersection with Sprinter. I think they went back to L.A."

Me: "They did, because of a certain somebody. And they sent they'd sent Luke for Kyle."

Johnny: "You all are making me feel like s**t now."

Paige: "And.."

Johnny: "I deserve it."

Luke: "Wait Kenzie, one more thing. Were you running from Ross all along."

Mackenzie: "Yes. I mean no. Well technically."

Kyle: "Huh?"

Mackenzie: "I'm hiding from Jen and Lola. They said if I come back to LA, there will be consequences."

Maddie: "Consequences? What kind of consequences.?"

Mackenzie: "I don't know. And I don't want to know."

Me: "Kyle, you're the only one we trust to end this."

Brooke: "We?"

Me: "Yes Brooke. We."

Kyle: "Seriously Chloe. Me alone?"

Me: "Josh and Dan are not here."

Luke: "I am right here."

Me: "Oh, sorry Luke."

Luke: "Okay, you heard her Ross. What's the plan?"
