Another boy, dark skinned, young and lean, his hair portraying his face shape perfectly, as well as a pro shooter at the three point line, pronouncing himself as Jaden.

Another contribution to the team, a slightly older and taller girl, Shelley. She wore a side braid with pieces of her hair falling out of place, but she still looked rather adoring with a half smile on her lips.

Lastly, and quite a surprise, a familiar tall and slightly built guy, the same guy from the lifeguard tower, finally introduced as Dylan.

The two teams looked equally as skilled, comparing and contrasting the two teams from one another. Despite the advantage Lauren had, if that being the handsome tall boy, Dylan, could be a good distraction to steer away Dinah's attention. The former captain could already see the Polynesian casting glances at their side of the court, she smirked slightly to herself, in a few minutes she would test the Polynesian's determination.
On the bleachers, Lucy, Ally, Normani, and Camila sat in the front row anticipating the upcoming game. When the game timer beeped, signaling the jump ball to begin, the whole crowd cheered in excitement.
"Go, Lauren!" Lucy jumped up from her seat along with the crowd's ruckus. The former captain heard her name being called from the direction of the bleachers, her eyes met the scene of Lucy rooting for her. A silly grin spread across her face as she responded with pointing her index finger at the chestnut haired girl, and turned back to the game at hand.
Camila watched the whole interaction with envying eyes, after both teams got checked and ready to go, Lauren and Dinah lined up for the starting jump ball, she watched all too well how Lucy casted a knowing smirk over her shoulder, knowing she got Lauren's attention this time.
Well two could play that game.
The brunette turned towards the game once more, ultimately deciding the team she finally chosen.
"Let's go, Dinah!" Camila jumped more enthusiastic, Lauren and Dinah both turning their heads to look at the brunette. Dinah wore a smug look on her face, casting a look at her opponent's face which was in a slight pout. Lauren was saddened a bit but shook it off for the sake of the game, and proving the Polynesian wrong.
As the referee stood next to the two awaiting opponents, explaining which sides the teams were shooting and other regulations. Once he finished speaking, Dinah and Lauren casted one look at each other before the game commenced. Green emerald into honey brown, smug and both definite they would win. With their right hands outstretched in front of them, the referee blew the whistle and held the ball in between them. After a few awaiting seconds, he threw the ball up into the air.
With a height advantage, Dinah jumped up high and tapped the ball behind her, into the direction of one of her team mates. Grayson, who caught the ball, started dribbling towards the basket as the team moved forwards with him. Lauren and her own team mates moved back and went immediately into defense positions.
And the game began.
A/N: Uh hi there. Ok yea I suck at updates, and this whole school concept is consuming. Update was really really short, just a teaser before the actual game and action happens. I'll try to update on the weekend which I have a 4 day weekend so yayyyyy. I really hope you guys still like this fanfic btw!!
