"Why dont you like chocolate though?" I asked Joey. We were sitting on the floor at Denzel and Nicole's house. I was in between his legs with my back to his chest. I was munching on some double chocolate chip cookies listening to him ramble on about how much he didnt like chocolate.
"Its too sweet" he said.
"Thats all?" I frowned. I thought it would be some long explanation.
"Yep" he chuckled. Nicole and Denzel were in the kitchen laughing about something. Nicole had invited us over because she was cooking something new and wanted our opinion or something like that.
"I'm sweet but you like me" I turned around and said while biting into another cookie.
He looked at me with his eyes squinted. "Double entendre?"
"How would that be a double entendre?" I asked confused.
He smirked and shook his head. "Nevermind Reggie."
"Nooo tell me" I frowned now wanting to know.
"Nah. Too x-rated for your innocent mind" he joked licking his lips. It hit me what he meant and I slapped my forehead.
"Oh my gosh no. Not that. I meant as a characteristic JoVaughn. Get your mind out of the gutter" I laughed.
He joined in laughing. "How can you hate chocolate when you're such a nice shade of it?" I asked him playfully.
"I used to hate being dark cause girls wanted all the high yellow niggas" he confessed looking down at his arms.
"I like your color. Its super deep and rich. Its nice and your skin is smooth. And you're warm" I kissed lips.
"What does me being warm have to do with anything?" he laughed.
I shrugged. "I dont know. I just like it."
"Stop being nasty" Denzel said as he walked into the living room.
"Stop watching" Joey retorted.
"Listen, dont try to act tough in front of ya girl b" Denzel joked.
"IF YOUR GOING TO FIGHT THEN DO IT OUTSIDE PLEASE!" I heard Nicole yell. I bursted out into laughter.
"Shut up and cook woman!" Denzel yelled back. I heard footsteps. Nicole appeared from the kitchen with a knife sharpening it.
