Percy's POV
After Grover and I carried the mummified Oracle back to the attic, Thalia came and told us that Mr. D has called for a head council meeting to talk about the prophecy.

I sat down along the Ping Pong table. Almost everyone was here except for two. One was from the Ares cabin but all of them got injured in Capture the Flag. The other was from the Apollo cabin.

Both Will and (Y/N) are the cabin leaders of the Apollo cabin since they been here in Camp since they were 7 but only Will was there with an empty seat beside him where (Y/N) usually sits.

I wasn't able to pay much attention to the meeting. The prophecy was still in my head. But I was brought back to reality when Thalia said that she'll go on the quest to save Artemis.

"Woah, wait a second, I want to go too."

Zoe shook her head.

"Absolutely not. I won't allow the Hunters to travel with a boy."

"But you did when we traveled here."

"That was different. Ordered by the goddess herself."

"But I need to go on this quest."

"For what? To save thy lady friend (Y/N)?

Now everyone was looking at me, waiting for my answer. I couldn't tell them about the prophecy that the Oracle only told me.

"Because I need to go. I just got this feeling." I said.

"That is not good reason."

Before I could argue back with her, Chiron spoke.

"The quest is for Artemis and the Hunters should be allowed to approve their companions. So there for Thalia and Grover will accompany Zoe, Bianca, and Phoebe. You shall leave tomorrow morning."

The council meeting was adjourned.

I was sitting on my bed, still thinking about that prophecy.

To the son of the sea god

To the son of the sea god. Well that's either me or Tyson but I didn't even tell Tyson about (Y/N) so it couldn't be him.

Because of your fatal flaw. I don't even know what my fatal flaw is. Skip this part of the prophecy.

You will go save the daughter of the sun. Ok I just have to sneak out of Camp so I could save (Y/N). That should be easy enough...then again maybe not. But I did it before, didn't I?

But first you must help her overcome what has been done. That part I didn't get. What else are they going to do with (Y/N)?

Evil and good must be apart. Ok...skip.

For her to be free from the dark. And another skip.

My thoughts were interrupted by someone knocking on the door. I got up and opened the door to find Chiron and Grover. I let them in.

Chiron talked about how I shouldn't go on the quest. Grover kept apologizing but he promised he will look for (Y/N).

After they left, I wanted to talk to my mom. She would know what to do.

I went to the fountain and grabbed a drachma from it.

"O goddess, accept my offering." I said as I tossed the drachma. "Show me Sally Jackson, Upper East Side, Manhattan."

The mist shimmered and then an image of my mom and some guy at the kitchen table. They were both laughing so hard to even notice my message.

I couldn't say anything at first. I just stared at them. Finally the guy excused himself to go to the bathroom. Once I made sure the guy left, I called out to my mom.

"Mom!"

She jumped and looked around on who was calling her. Then she saw me.

"Percy! Is everything ok?"

"What are you doing?" I asked, more like demanded.

"Homework." She said.

I gave her the look.

"Oh that was Paul-I mean Mr

"Oh that was Paul-I mean Mr.Blofis. He's helping me."

"Blowfish?"

"Blofis. Now tell me what's wrong. You look terrible, no offense."

"It's (Y/N). She's...she's in danger and we don't know where she's at."

Tears were visible but my mom blinked hard trying not to let them fall.

My mom always considered (Y/N) as her own daughter. She would always tease me on how (Y/N) is going to be her future daughter-in-law.

"And you're going after her?"

I nodded.

"I have to. I can't just stay here, knowing she's out there in danger."

"Well, I will support you Percy, even if what you decide to do is dangerous."

I nodded.

"Thanks, Mom."

"Be careful, Percy."

She swiped her hand over the mist, disconnecting the message.

I decided to go to sleep if I was going to wake up early enough.

Big mistake.
