I've put together a list of 101 of the dumbest state laws in the United States. These were all taken from state legal texts that are currently in effect as of December 2007. Many of these laws date back over 100 years, and simply have not been updated, while others are just written and idiotically passed by groups of moronic politicians with nothing better to do, and some of these are so obvious that they should not have to be written as law:
#1 In New Jersey it is against the law to "frown" at a police officer.
