Epilogue: What about my surprise?

"Hey, Autumn, Boss wants you upstairs in his office." I looked up from the desktop and straight at Anthony's blue eyes.

He wants to see me upstairs? Oh god.

"Anthony, I don't want to go." I whined.

"Oh, you'll be fine. You're probably going to get a promotion or something like that." Jewel popped her head up over the wall and smiled at me.

Anthony leaned against my desk. "Jews is right, this could be a good thing."

They're out of their freaking minds. I shook my head. "This- this is not good. He's never called me upstairs before, I didn't even know what it looks like up there." I said incredulously.

"Ooh, I heard it has a couch in the bathroom." Anthony piped in.

"It does not. But I heard Matthews uses an empty room for his mistresses that come to visit him." Jewel wiggled her eyebrows.

I shook my head at them again. "Okay, okay. I'm gonna go, just don't do anything stupid while I'm gone." I told them.

"When have we done anything dumb?" Anthony asked. I just gave him a knowing look as I stood up. "Alright, so, we like to have fun, would you kill us." I rolled my eyes before I started to walk toward the elevator.

I pressed the lift button and I waited. I started working at Matthews Publishing Inc. about seven months ago. One month before I graduated.

I earned my bachelors degree this recent June and I managed to get an internship at this place where I got an actual job. What can I say, writing is my passion.

As for Dylan and I. We couldn't be any happier. It's been exactly two years since he came to New York to find me. It seemed like yesterday because I remember every single detail. Exactly two years, meaning, it's our anniversary.

We've been dating for two years and it has been great. I'm freaking happy and I still feel like a teenager whenever I'm around him. However, over the years, I've become more comfortable around Dylan.

All his cute gestures are now natural to me and I hardly ever blush anymore. Sometimes.

The elevator doors opened and I stepped in pressing the button for the top floor. This building was huge.

After Dylan came to New York, he actually stayed and spent the holidays with us. I eventually had to go back to the university but he was also there with me. He lived in California and I would go visit him almost everyday. I'm just really happy with him and I really couldn't ask for anyone better. I know he feels the same way about me. I never should've doubted hope.

Dylan might not have been apart of his class graduation, but he still had enough credits to get his bachelors degree. I feel kind of old thinking about it.
