Chapter 22: What about meeting the Family?
Autumns P.O.V

The door opened and I immediately knew this had to be Dylan's mother. He had her eyes and her dark hair and she smiled like him. She looked very young, about in her early forties.

Hey, that's pretty young when one of your sons is an adult and the other is one year away from graduating college. She looked pretty young too. She had jeans on with a casual shirt and her hair was in a ponytail. She looked more of like young aunt that everyone liked better then their actual parents.

"Dio Mio! Dylan, Sei qui!" She jumped.

"Ciao mamma." There goes that sexy accent.

Anyway.

Dylan hugged his mother and she was grinning like crazy. I guess it must've been a while since they've seen each other. I stood and watched them with a smile before Dylan's mother broke apart and her eyes landed on me.

She gasped and her eyes widened. "Dylan, stiamo essere Scortese. Chi è questo?"

Dylan looked to me with a smile before he turned back to his mom. "Ma, this is Autumn. I meet her down in California."

"Oh my goodness, Dylan! She's beautiful!" She now stood in front of me. "It's so nice to meet you." She held out her hand and I shook it. I was surprised at how they changed their languages so easily.

"It's nice to meet you too." I smiled.

"Well, don't just stand there, come inside." We walked into the house and Dylan's mom led us into the living room.

It was big. Like really big. It was the size of my whole dorm. It had a modern look to it and everything was white and black. It actually looked pretty.

"I know it's late but you guys must be starving. We waited until you guys got here." Dylan's mom chirped at us.

We?

"Is Lucas here?" Dylan asked.

"Of course he's here. You know I've would've kicked his ass if he wasn't." Dylan's mom stood at the bottom of the stairs. "LUCAS!"

Soon, I heard trudging down the stairs. Lucas stood in front of his mother and I couldn't help but look at him. He looks exactly like Dylan. Well, not exactly but you could tell they were definitely brothers.

"Che cosa?" He asked irritated, like she disturbed him.

"Your brothers here, now go say hi." Lucas turned to us and a smile came across his face.

"Non c'è modo. Guarda chi è." Dylan laughed and the brothers hugged it out.

"Man, I missed you." Dylan gave a slight shove on his Lucas' shoulder with a smile.

"I missed you too. How's life treating you?" Lucas asked Dylan was about to answer when their mom smacked him over his head.

"Ow." He turned to her.

"Don't be rude." She gestured to me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Oh yeah, Lucas, I'd like you to meet someone. She's going to be staying with us." Dylan introduced me.
