"Why do I have to go to this ball again?" I complained to my mom who was leaning on the side of my bedroom door, and Yerin who was helping me with my dress.

"Because it's a once in a life time opportunity to be asked by a decent guy like Mingyu." Mom answered.

"You both planned this all along didn't you?" I crossed my arms and looked at mom through the mirror. She put her hands up in defeat and went out of the room, so I turn my attention to Yerin.

"Okay! Okay! I planned everything. Mingyu asked for my help and I couldn't say no because he said he'll help me with Taehyung oppa." She exhaled.

"So this was all because you wanted Taehyung oppa to notice you." She pouted and I knew I couldn't stay mad at her. "Fine. You're forgiven, but you have to help me with my make up." She giggled and started doing my face.

It's my first time attending this kind of gathering, I'm oblivious of everything. Jungkook and I was supposed to attend prom last year but he had flu so I didn't really get a chance to experience a formal party like this. He even promised to take me to this grad ball but everything went south, I have no choice but accept the truth that promises are meant to be broken.

I took a deep breath and rung the doorbell. Mrs. Jung opened it, I greeted her but my eyes landed on the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She's wearing a simple coral gown that hugs her body perfectly. It falls right above her ankles, revealing a nude color strappy heels. Her hair was braided around her head like a crown, making her look like a princess. Her smile is the perfect accessory that completed the whole look.

She then walked towards me, I thought I would faint. She was breath taking.

"Kang Mingyu, close your mouth will you?" Yerin teased me.

"Shall we?" Eunha offered her hands and I took it.

I walked Eunha towards my dad's car, we'll be using this car to get to the venue. I opened the passenger seat and took the bouquet of flowers and handed it to Eunha. Then I gestured her to get inside. Yerin and Taehyung will be using Taehyung's car, he got it as a birthday present from his parents last year.

The grad ball is going to be held in a hotel and it's an hour away from our place. Ever since Mingyu came to pick me up, he hasn't been talking and it feels weird.

Is there something wrong with my dress? Did Yerin do something to my face? Last time I check I look pretty decent.

"How did you know I love sunflowers?" I don't want to suffer an hour long of awkward silence so I asked him.

"Good guess." He answered with his eyes focused on the road.

"Really? I don't believe you." I carefully touched the petals, feeling every inch of it.

"I'll tell you later." I looked at him confused.

"Later? Why not now?" I insisted.

"Because I'm driving." He chuckled.

We've only been driving for twenty minutes but I'm starting to feel sleepy. I didn't get enough sleep last night because Yerin wanted to have a movie marathon since we had a sleep over at my house. I think I only slept for less than six hours.

I tilted the passenger seat backwards so I can feel comfortable while I lie down for a bit. I faced the car door so Mingyu won't see my sleeping face, it would be too embarrassing and fell asleep.

We arrived at the hotel safely and parked the car, but Eunha is still sleeping. I couldn't bring myself to wake her up, she look so precious sleeping in that position. She had right arm under her head as a pillow, while her left arm is hugging the sunflowers close to her chest.

I took off my tuxedo and draped it on top of her so she'll feel comfortable sleeping, then I took a picture of her in my phone.

"How can you still look pretty while sleeping?" I whispered to myself, looking at her picture.

This moment with Eunha is more precious than attending a ball, it's not like I get to see a sleeping beauty every day.

It's been thirty minutes since the grad ball started and it looks like Eunha won't be waking up anytime soon, so I took out my phone and started playing games to kill the time.

The sound of my ringtone woke me up. I answered it without looking at the caller ID and Yerin's voice made me flinched.

"Finally! Where are you guys? I've been calling you both for hours now." She was shouting because of the loud music on the other line.

"We're almost there. Mingyu's still driving." I said with a rusty voice. I had my eyes closed, still sleepy.

"What do you mean driving? The ball is almost over!" Then I heard a lot of people clapping on the other line.

I jolted up from my position from what I heard from Yerin and ended up bumping my head, making a loud thud. I rubbed the part of my head that I hit.

"Hey are you alright?" I heard Mingyu's husky voice, I turned my head towards the driver's seat and it turns out he fell asleep too.

"Yah! Why didn't you wake me up?! We missed the ball!" I was mad at him even though I know it's partly my fault.

He looked at me and laughed.

"You think this is funny?! I missed it for the second time now!" I was furious.

I got out of the car and closed the door as hard as I can. I started walking but something caught my gown, I thought it was Mingyu who was tugging it so pulled harder until I heard something got ripped. I turned around and saw a piece of my gown stuck on the car door.

I fell on my knees.

Poor Eunha :( She missed prom and now grad ball. If you guys don't know what grad ball is, it's basically like JS Prom but only for graduating students. Grad Ball = Graduation Ball.
