Only You

Chapter 5

Her eyes popped open as soon as the sound of the alarm clock went off. She dragged herself to the bathroom to get ready for school. After changing into her uniform, she pulled the curtain and opened the window in her room to water the plants.

"Mianhe..." She said to her plants. She haven't been taking care of them lately, her mom was the one who have been watering her plants secretly because her mom knows that Eunha will be more depressed if she found her plants dead, but Eunha knew it all. She knows that everyone is secretly taking care of her just to see her smile again.

She was about to close the curtains when she saw Mingyu with a smirk on his face looking at her from his window. She was annoyed at the fact that he already lives next to them and was furious now that she found out her room is across to his room. He's an expert in getting on her nerves.

She immediately closed the curtains and made her way to the kitchen to eat breakfast. She was in a hurry to finish her meal, she wants to go to school first before Mingyu. Everything she does in school is all because of Mingyu. He always beat her in anything, even small petty things like who's going to clean the board or even going to the lockers. For them, everything is a competition.

She put on her shoes and said goodbye to her parents. She got out of the gate and was already irritated when she saw Mingyu got out of their house too. She started walking ahead of him reminding herself that it's too early to get into an argument with him.

She can feel that Mingyu is walking behind her causing her to speed up her pace, then she felt someone's arms hung around her shoulders.

She looked up to see who it is. Her eyes widened when she saw it was him. "Yah! What do you think you're doing?" He didn't respond. He was looking straight ahead with a grin on his face.

He loves to tease Eunha ever since they knew each other. He's been in love with Eunha for three years now, and teasing her is the only way he could get her attention. It was his only way to make her look at him because he knows that Jungkook is the only one who holds her heart.

Ever since the school knew about Jungkook dumping Eunha before he went to America, he's been worried about her, but he doesn't know how to comfort her especially that Eunha only see him as a rivalry in school. Now, he's ready to make a move on her.

"Yah! Kim Mingyu! Are you deaf?!" She elbowed him in the stomach and stomped on his feet causing him to take off his arms around her and flinch in pain. Eunha saw that as an opportunity to get away from him and run towards the school.

She looked back at him and saw that he was slightly limping, guilt started to crawl in her skin. She wanted to go back and to help and apologise but decided not. If she go back, she will definitely be late.

Inside the room, she found herself looking at the door, waiting for Mingyu to show up before their teacher does. There's only five minutes left before the class officially start and he's still nowhere to be found.

"Are you waiting for someone?" Yerin noticed her friend who was gawking at the door like a predator waiting for its prey.

"Huh? Aniyo." She turned her head the other way instead, looking at the window. She finally found who she was waiting for. Mingyu was still halfway in the quadrangle. Half of her wanted to run towards the door and help him, but the other half wanted to keep her pride intact and stay put.

The school bell rung and she jumped out of her chair and run towards Mingyu. Yerin called her but she stop.
