Trapped By Wolves

Chapter 15: Possessive

"I am so sorry." Chaeri uttered, she couldn't believe she had to tell another lie "I didn't know what had gotten into my cousin, I'll make sure to scold him--"

"I-It's fine." Jaeyoon said surprising her, she couldn't believe he bought it!

"I understand why he did that." he said, he winced at the pain on his cheek when he tried to flash a faint smile "I would have probably done the same thing if I saw my sister about to be kissed by a guy I didn't know."

"Are you sure you're okay? Would you like me to treat that bruise?" Chaeri asked worriedly,

Jackson clenched his fist in disapproval, his gaze still sharp as he watched the two in front of him, the other wolves hiding behind the trees were scowling as well, jealous at the attention she was giving Jaeyoon,

"I'm okay" Jaeyoon chuckled softly "I can just treat it at home."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I-I'll just call you..."

Chaeri watched as Jaeyoon turned his back from her, her forehead creased worriedly as her eyes followed him until he turned a corner and was out of sight.

Jackson had a grim look on his face as he stared at Chaeri, her eyes were still on the street Jaeyoon had taken and it made him all the more angry,

"Let's go home…" Jackson spoke breaking the silence that occured between them, Chaeri turned covering the distance between them as she swiftly walked towards him,

"Chaeri--"

The sharp sound echoed through the silent street, the hiding wolves winced in their places, some wide-eyed as they watched the scene in front of them unable to move,

Jackson's hand went to his cheek, the reddish skin stang painfully but he still managed to keep a poker face, his gaze met the furious girl in front of him,

"What is wrong with you!" She hollered, tears streaming down her face "How could you hit him like that?!"

"He tried to kiss you!" Jackson scowled, he couldn't understand why she was angry when Jaeyoon clearly deserved the punch he gave him "That guy was asking for it!"

"So what if he tried to kiss me?!" Chaeri spat, why was Jackson being unreasonable?! "I wanted to be kissed!"

"Well you cant!"

"What do you mean I can't?!" Chaeri's forehead creased "That's not for you to decide!"

Jackson went silent at Chaeri's words, he bit the insides of his cheek trying to contain the anger and hurt that was all mixed inside him,

"You can't be with him." He uttered "You're our host."

Chaeri expression went grim, she clenched her fist in anger as he looked down at her feet trying not to slap him again, there it was again, the word host, she was getting tired of hearing it, all that word did was stop her from living how she wanted to live,

What does being their host have to do with who she wanted to be with?! Jackson and the others were just being unreasonable,
